hi man i've got a question, i'm from ecuador and in my country doesnt sell the td-9s and i want a electric drum for my home studio but i dont know how good is it please tell me your opinion about adventages and dissaventages, thanks and sprry for my english and grammar
ei no problem! The TD9S is a VERY AWESOME kit. This is really good for advancing and intermediate drummers. Advantages? 1-it's cheaper now ($500 cut since i bought it). 2-Quick Record feature wch allows you to record right on the spot! 3- Scope feature wch helps you see whether you're accurate or not in playing 4-Drum sounds are phenomenal- realistic sounding. Disadvantages? well the TD9-S comes with the rubber pads whc do not feel like the real ones. I Recommend getting the TD-9 with mesh pads
Hey man thanks 4 u help, but i've got a question there are so much difference between td4 and td9 cause i'm thinking to buy the yd4s with mesh pads cause some people tell me that these were better than the rubber pads, but again in my country nobody sell it and i cant try before buy please if youhave any experience help me
Hi my brother, this video is very nice, but i have a question about td-9s, how good is it? in my country doesnt sell this and i dont know if buy it in internet because i dont as good is the sound please help me with these questions and sorry for my english and grammar :)
Keep this video up as a reminder to all U/T viewers so they wont 4-get this greedy cry baby giant.. Don't buy anything they own right 2! This is beyond childish!
hey man sounds sweet. im thinking about picking up the lexicon omega but i was just wondering if you could record 4 separate tracks. for example track 1 bass track 2 guitar track 3 vocals and track four keyboard and be able to edit them separately after. i figured you could but i took a trip to guitar center today and the guy told me you couldn't.. so confusing. anyway if you could get back to me id really appreciate it thanks!
Im pretty sure you could record several instruments and end up with separate tracks of their own (if you look at an Omega's rear picture, you'll see lot's of different input jacks (XLR's, 1/4", etc). The thing is, you have to record each instrument one at a time, else if your bandmates record all at once, your sound will just appear on your software as a single track with your sounds mixed altogether (though there might be ways to solve that problem). I hope that helps :)
I set the toms in the ff. order: [10" Maple T1], [12" Maple T2], and [14" Maple T3]. Everything should be in the TD9 library. I also selected "Theater" for my kit's ambience setting
I bought this at Guitar Center for around $1799.99 + taxes = roughly 2000. I do not know if there are any other stores that sell these kits for a lower price.
Thanks! Yes, the TD-9S Roland Vdrums can be expanded up to two more extra pads (but since Roland's pads are usually dual triggered, you can produce up to 4 more additional drum/percussion sounds), which is sufficient enough for beginner-intermediate drummers like me :P.
Thanks! Let's see, I just used by computer's built-in sound card when I recorded my drum track for this video. But right now, I have installed a PCI Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer sound card by Creative. It might work out fine for you.

I think that's the best sounding electronic kit I've ever heard. Really nice job configuring it.

I'm actually hitting the tom rims of the PD-8 pads that I configured to make splash cymbal sounds. So that is how I get two sounds from one pad.
