This game is shit. Skyrim forever.

Tried it yesterday, this game is such a copycat.

The graphics is taken from WoW

The combat system reminds me too much of Alice Madness Returns

The leveling system is very similar to Elder Scrolls

There is a f**king Skyrim helmet at the menu

It's like they took all the best stuff from the games mentioned, and then watered it down to a level where it's just dull.

I really, really want to like it, but the game wont let me.

An other MMO that is a consoll port. For all Gods in the world I hope EA does not destroy the game by making so pure consol friendly that the PC verson is being destroyed.

@algroshaw the quests r way different then that kinda stuff. I saw one gameplay of it where you go find a lady and she's in a cave and u go find her there and kill all the stuff then close the gates where they come in through. The quest progressed sorta like how skyrim does.

100+ unique armor sets, IIRC, in addition to the different random things generated by the affix system. The combat is accessible since there are no combos to memorize. That would cause some repetition, except the skills are designed to interact with one another in interesting and unexpected ways. No mounts in the game. You can fast travel to any visited location. The world is, well, like looking at a drawing of a neural network: wide open areas as 'cells', connected by narrow channels.

@Kaelsyd About the armor..it's covered in the video. First of all the game has a Diablo-ish random loot generating system that can randomize over 2 MILLION items. on top that there's hundreds of uniqely hand-crafter items and sets. These items can have it's own lore and sick looks. We get our abilities from these 3 talent trees and have 66 different abilities to invest our points in. And at any one time we can use 2 different kinds of weapons in combat so shouldn't be repetative.

@Kaelsyd There are no mounts, instead they use a fast travel system that allows you to fast travel to locations you have ALREADY discovered. And my personal impression is that this world will be big...I'm coming from TES games like Oblivion so it's important to me and it really seems that they are delivering on the sheer size of the world. With Ken Rolston behind the project I doubt they would go for anything less! :P

Combat is pretty neat, it's not too repetitive.

No horses, you can fast travel though. Or just walk.

Oblivion is awesome but the only thing in my opinion that lacks is mounted combat that would be really good to have that in skyrim although I dohn't think it will happen, nevertheless I am a big fan of exploring and Oblivion surely had that at the tons not to mention the crazy amount of mods that existed to it.

also Spells in Oblivion weren't really all that good, so yeah looking foward to this title

The part about everything in the world having 'meaning' or history/lore behind it sounds pretty cool, but really, it all depends on how they deliver that story. If it's just books that fill your screen with pages of text, not many people are going to sit there reading it.

One thing I liked about Bastion, they told you the story without forcing you to stop playing and read. I hope they find a good way to deliver the content. But definitely going to check this game out.

The game is still centered around first person combat which already there says that the combat wont be as visual and interesting as what KOA is going for. And they actually have a generic fantasy setting like something straight from LOTR or the like.

Skyrim never looks unique because it looks like a generic fantasy setting, combat is more fluid in KOA. TB - if you liked this game you may like "Legend of mir 2"

it is exactly what this game sounds like. E.G. you can craft items that dont drop in the game but also items that do drop in the game.

the game rewards you for doing things outside what your class would normally do. E.G. if i was a taoist (hard hitting class that can be cast from far, can also heal itself/others) i would normally fight at range with my posion. however if i was fighting with my sword i would gain more gold or "exp"
