@gerdysmith I'll say what I think but I might be wrong :( Hahaah :) I think it's about her and another guy in a relationship, but she never liked him as much as he liked her, he cared about her more, but however much she tried, she couldn't like him anymore than she did. She saw it was going to end so she ended it then, maybe a bit earlier than she should of because of the pressure she felt to not keep tagging him along (hence maybe the name panic cord) :)
