This fix works 100% of the time:

Just rebuild the database... i've forgotten how, but just google "how to rebuild ps3 database" a 2nd grader could figure it out based on the steps it'll give you.. its like resetting ur ps3 a certain number of times until some alternative menu comes up, then just select rebuild database.. u wont lose anything. (exept old messages) but thats all.

@michael79331 no problem. this was the most annoying bug ever.. rebuilding the database also speeds up how quickly friend lists loads too, which for me is good, because mine used to take like 6 minutes just to load =/

YAY! i made it work... I did a lot of stuff so.. here's everything i did:

1. did as the video says

2. change avatar

3. remove profile comment

4. went into another profile, then back to my main

in other words... i tried everything

then i restarted and it suddenly my friends list showed up

Go to your list......1.go to your name....2. press triangle and go to your comment...3.delete your comment and leav eit black and exit the comment screen and it should be back 2 normal if not message me back
