@cbr6864 i spoke a little early as something, im guessing thermostat went on the way home from school today and my overheat light dont work, well it had the coolant boiling and it barely made it up my driveway. i let it cool down for a few hours and it seems to run fine. i guess that goes to show that you really cant kill them. so far all i replaced on the engine was the plugs, wires, distributor cap, and the waterpump, before the overheat it had 130 psi compression on all 6

@texlonghorns12 That doesn't mean it's indestructible, now try putting 400K+ mile on your Land Cruiser, most of which is in extremely harsh off road conditions, extreme heat and cold, never do anything except gas-oil-tires, and then you can call your truck indestructible. 200K miles is rare for a Jeep, but that's below par for a Toyota LC, they average 300K+.
Watch Top Gear's "How to Kill a Toyota"... now that's indestructible.

I currently own a AEV Brute with 40"s (Google it), that can't even come close to any of my TLC's with 35"-37" tires... and that's a super custom Jeep.

The J10 had 220k on it and still ran when sold, my 91 xj had 291k on it when I scrapped it, and my 99 has been abused with 33's on it its whole life and runs like a top with 115k on it. I have never even heard of a a jeep lasting less than 100k. Maybe old school 360's or something but the 4.0's are close to bullet proof...I have never seen one blow and I belong to a feww jeep clubs.

@cbr6864 i spoke a little early as something, im guessing thermostat went on the way home from school today and my overheat light dont work, well it had the coolant boiling and it barely made it up my driveway. i let it cool down for a few hours and it seems to run fine. i guess that goes to show that you really cant kill them. so far all i replaced on the engine was the plugs, wires, distributor cap, and the waterpump, before the overheat it had 130 psi compression on all 6
