I saw them in the early 90's in Australia and loved them. First heard Kazet as a remix at a gay club in Perth and then saw them live WOW

I watched them live in concert in 2008 in Nairobi Kenya during the SawaSawa Festival, still very energetic...they attribute it to living a prayerful life, eating well, not drinking and smoking..trully phenomenal

This is not the original Mahotella queens but the song Kazet was done but this trio in their album from their 1987 album Paris-Soweto

I used to hum to this song as a little girl and I sometimes I would think that they sing "gazelle". . . . . lol. . I later learnt (as a big girl now) that the song is called "kazet". I love this music so much. I grew up listening to so much South African music here in Kenya. Brings back good ol' memories of when life was good; men were men, women were women, children were children, love was love, family was family, Cheers!!

@Sposata100 WOW, I used to think the same exact thing (that they were saying "gazelle". My parents would send me to Canada every Summer as a little girl and I can remember being 7 years old sitting behind my aunt's car eating a popsicle listening to this song on her tape deck. It brings back good memories of my childhood. :)

OMG! I came here looking for this song (like so many other favorite african songs from salif keita, brenda fassie, chaka chaka etc) without actually knowing the title! Nigerian here....I remember seeing this video back in '90 in Bamako, Mali. I can never forget this song!
