  • I like the look of the centipedes in HO scale the most. The O scale are okay, but they look kind of bulky.

  • I've noticed some of the Pennsylvania engines are red, while others are green. Does anyone here know what the reason for this is

  • @starguard They are just different schemes. The tuscan red is more of a passenger scheme while the brunswick greed is more freight.

  • i have a pair of the 5-stripe engines (It will pull the Broadway Limited someday). great runners, but a little loud. i need to redo some CV's because i don't have the horn or bell and take the momentum out of it. Also, the short drawbar, makes it look even better.

  • Also called: Baby face

  • Thats not N scale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 00h that is cool. gotta love the centipede

  • Thanks for showing. Looking forward to getting my Seaboard one next month.

  • Some article explain this axis style as "2-D-D-2" too. This real engine name is "Baldwin DR2-8-3000" with 3000 horse power per unit.

  • Technically, same wheel arraingement as a Big Boy:4-8-8-4, although some prefer 4+D+D+4.

  • So great length, sound feel good, body look very nice.
