The only difference is, Christians recognize God as a trinity (God the Father, God the Son, & God the Holy Ghost); we as Muslims do not see God as a trinity. God is singular & alone.

The Old & New Testament contain many books "supposedly" written by the names of the authors of the various books (however, this is not the reality of what occurred with the Bible). The Protestant Old Testament has~39 books (The Catholic version has~46) & the New Testament has 27 books (13 written by Paul). The Qur'an is 1 book, it verifies the truth of the Bible. (See Panel #2)
(Panel #2): The Qur'an has not been tampered with (it's pure) & it's in the original language & original manuscript. The Qur'an covers the scriptures from Adam through Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus & Muhammad (all prophets & messengers are not included in this list); so it covers the scriptures of the old testament & the New Testament (but remember, it's one book). The 2 books cover similar things & compliment each other. (See Panel #3)
(Panel #3): The Qur'an is not an Arab book nor is the Bible a Jewish book (they are books of God, however, the various books was revealed to specific ethnic individuals). I hope this helps.

Please find me the scripture where Jesus himself says, "I am a Christian, and I want all of you to be Christians". Muslim means one who submits his will to do the Will of God (Matt. 26:39&42, Mark 14:36, Luke 22:17, John 5:30-31, 7:17-18, 9:4, 14:10), so by that definition, Jesus was a Muslim.

@zbvvc I said Islam was "first established in America" in 1930. That did not mention the Muslims that ATTEMPTED to establish Islam here before that, but THEY WERE NOT SUCCESSFUL. The 1st Islamic school, the 1st open & unobstructed teaching of the deen, the 1st large Islamic ummah in America were all started AFTER 1930. Its just a fact & I can assure you, you have nothing to refute that. I'm not saying there weren't other Islamic communities before & after 1930, but the NOI was most successful.

Such gross misunderstanding. First its a matter of history (FACT) that Islam's rapid growth in America is DIRECTLY attributable to the Hon. Elijah Muhammad & those first Muslims. The profit (pbuh) knew nothing of the word and concept of Tawhid because the word "Tawhid" was originated 300 years after the profits (pbuh) death. The word Tawhid originated in the 9th century AD. This is proven by its non existence in the Holey Quran, Hadith, and Sunnah. You can not find the word Tawhid anywhere with in the three before mentioned sources.

The Old & New Testament contain many books "supposedly" written by the names of the authors of the various books (however, this is not the reality of what occurred with the Bible). The Protestant Old Testament has~39 books (The Catholic version has~46) & the New Testament has 27 books (13 written by Paul). The Qur'an is 1 book, it verifies the truth of the Bible. (See Panel #2)

Because of this large difference, the Qur'an contains mostly the significant stories & accounts in the Bible (especially Adam, Moses, Jesus, Mary, etc). (See Panel #2)

Then there's Messenger Muhammad, better known as the Hon. Elijah Muhammad who was born in 1897. He established a 40 year foundation for Islam in the USA. The NOI teaches Islam and the followers are muslims. Islam means peace and the NOI has minimal to no record of violence in it's history. Muslim means to submit to the will of God and the NOI members submit; all members take the Shahada; The NOI primary religious book is the Qu'ran; they adhere to the 5 principles of Islam (Belief in one God/Allah, Salat, fasting, zakat and Hajj to mecca). The 1st Islamic school, the 1st open & unobstructed teaching of the deen, the 1st large Islamic ummah in America were all started AFTER 1930. Its just a fact & I can assure you, you have nothing to refute that. I'm not saying there weren't other Islamic communities before & after 1930, but the NOI was most successful.

Such gross misunderstanding. First its a matter of history (FACT) that Islam's rapid growth in America is DIRECTLY attributable to the Hon. Elijah Muhammad & those first Muslims. Its not that others have not tried to bring Islam here, but the Hon. Elijah Muhammad was successful in establishing it. None before him was successful. Rev. 1:14 shows Jesus is black & as a prophet of Allah we know he's Muslim. Read John 17 in the Bible, you'll see in context who the NOI is in relation to Jesus & Allah.

I know how Mohammed spread his word, which isnt much different from how Christianity was spread.The difference between the two is that Jesus didnt spread his word in a violent manner, his followers distorting his message did. Islamic countries discriminate against other religions, taxed them at higher rates, behead converts and women have few rights in Sharia law.

Let me reiterate:
The profit (pbuh) knew nothing of the word and concept of Tawhid because the word "Tawhid" was originated 300 years after the profits (pbuh) death. The word Tawhid originated in the 9th century AD. This is proven by its non existence in the Holey Quran, Hadith, and Sunnah. You can not find the word Tawhid anywhere with in the three before mentioned sources.

The word 'Tawheed' has been authentically cited in a number of Hadith - both marfu' & maw'quf. the Hadith narrated from Jabir ibn Abdullah (Radhi Allaahu 'anhu) is an example. In this Hadith, at a place, Jabir (RAA) described the prophet (SAAWS)'s action as, "...FaAhalla bit-Tawheed,....."

Volume 9, Book 93, Number 536:
Narrated 'Abdullah bin Qais:
The Prophet said, "(There will be) two Paradises of silver and all the utensils and whatever is therein (will be of silver); and two Paradises of gold, and its utensils and whatever therein (will be of gold), and there will be nothing to prevent the people from seeing their Lord except the Cover of Majesty over His Face in the Paradise of Eden (eternal bliss)."

I challenge you to show one single ayat from the Quran that says Allah was a man or even one authentic hadith that shows Muhammad (pbuh) saying Allah was a man. Not trying to offend anyone herebut the Nation of Islam is not Islam and its members are not Muslims. Sure, most of its members are decent folk who mean well but are very misguided. I was born into that group 40yrs ago and have been trying to understand, study and practice Islam for the last 30 yrs. I think that anyone who really studies Islam will instantly see that the main pillar upon which Islam stands is something called Tawheed.the N.O.I opposes tawheed!

Tawheed is the science of how you understand The Creator. How He describes Himself, His position of Authority over Creation, our subservience to Him and most of all what the punishment is for those who die without understanding it. In the Quran, Allah promises an everlasting Fire for those who die without accepting these principles of Tawheed. So if a person dies while worshiping some part of the creation instead of the Creator they are forced to burn in Hell forever with no chance of escape!

The worst crime for a human being in Islam is to oppose tawheed. This is called Shirk. Unfortunately, the NOI doesnt teach any of this! Shirk is the only crime or sin that is not forgiven by Allah if a person dies while committing it.Shirk is when a part of creation tries to take or share some of the qualities of the Creator. For instance when a person calls themselves god thats shirk! When the nation says that Fard was god thats shirk! When they say Black men are god thats shirk.

In the academic world, historians and scholars agree that the people of the Sunna, the original orthodox of Islam which included the companions of the profit (pbuh) armed with the words of the profit himself, understood that Allah is a Human Being ( A MAN). The followers of the profit are referred to as Ashab-Al-Hadith or the people of the tradition and later became known as Al-Hashwiyya.
