  • put bigger tired on and it will look much better

  • @ColandreaStudios11 -Thanks but the body isn't sitting in its correct place. I sat it down on another rig's running gear to hook to the battery. Body sat much lower and looked right when done.

  • where did you get the body from

  • @Ratchett38 -It started as two Tamiya Blackfoot bodies. They were made in the 80's and are only available used these days. I used two and made the crew cab as well as made the full drop bed in the back.

  • CAn I buy this truck?

  • @halo3xboxpunk -sadly, no. I sold this truck some time ago. check youtube user froader, who bought it and repainted it orange, like the local southern california transit authority.

  • where did you get the little men for inside cab are they gi joes

  • @japbagger - they're actually pro skater action figures. I think it was proskaterDOTcom or something like that, but I found them at my local drug store. I then painted their shirts dark blue like the fire fighter t-shirts here locally.

  • Hi!

Where I can buy sas lights ..... ebay?

Have you information to buy them?

    Thanks

    David

  • Yep, on Ebay. Check Bills RC Lighting. He does good kits. Rc-Lighting also good kits. You just need to ask for flashing (strobing?) LED's instead of standards.

  • Thank you!!!!

    Look my videos.

  • it looks way to big look at my videos and see my bad ass rc vids

  • Well its bigger than your 1:18th scale Losi mainly because this is a 1:10 scale body. Sorry, did not see any bad ass rc videos though, just your losi videos.

  • the body is to big

  • It's not actually. See the note at 0:05 to see why.

  • that is cool

  • Thanks!

  • whered you get the body for it and like the bumper

  • The body is from an old Tamiya RC, called "Blackfoot". Although I made this crew cab version myself from two bodies.

The bumper is one piece with the grill and lights and is original to the Blackfoot, although I added the tow points.

  • The light bar came from a ToysRus toy Hummer (non RC) fire truck. Fitted strobe LED's in it so no chip for the lights needed. The strobe LED's connect like regular ones.

  • Nice. What scale is that?

  • The body is supposed to be 1:10 but its a little small for that, more like 1:11ish, maybe even 1:12. Works with 1:10 stuff though. In this video its sitting on a different rigs chassis and doesnt sit nearly that high.

  • that looks soo nice. do you have any vids of it offroad with the lights on? I never saw one?

  • Actually I dont think so. I never ran it in the dark except in the yard to test them. there is a video of that though.

  • your missing two lights in gril

  • thanks. I've since fixed that.

  • nicw truck, need new tires tho lol too small

  • those are 1.9's and they're perfect-too big actually. in this video the body is sitting on top of another chassis so its several inches higher than it should be. it was just for testing the lights.

  • o i c

  • thanxs fore replying

  • nice truck

  • thanks. its proving to be a very capable truck.

  • nice job but u might want a bigger frame

  • frame is fine. the frame for it is actually sitting on the table to the left of the body. I placed it on the chassis of another truck just to plug it in and test the lighting. Thats why the wheelbase is off so much.

  • thats sweet you take those off a rc police car i take it

  • the plastic light bar was from a toy bu the lighting was made up special for a rig just like this (but not this one). search for Jaynen's hummer videos here to see the original vehicle these lights were on, as well as the toy body the lightbar came from.
