  • yea i just finished watching it last night..

  • my band director re-wrote this song into our instruments for our rock show for marching band and i didnt know about it until then but now i love it!!!!!

  • OOps wrong video.

  • One of my top ten songs of the 60's. I have a copy with more guitar at the start and more no, no, no at the end. I would like to know where that came from. I have the LP and .45 but that version is on neither one.

  • forget all the kill bill , this is a scooter boy fav, brings back the old school rallies.

  • they were a "garage band" true most bands from that era started that way. but they were not a punk band in any sense of the genre.

punk was still a decade away and started in england as a counter culture movement- no talent was required.

  • Yep, the great thing about growing up in the 60's was that there was at least one garage band in the neighborhood. Surf, doowop, rock, roack-a-billy...just 4 guys learning to play together. SO MUCH FUN!!

  • this group were a 60s garage punk band.its on the first nuggets lp.

  • one of the best songs ever - it works no matter what you're doing when you listen to it

  • as oppossed to the "non violent" way of killing somebody???.....HMMMMmmmmm you might wanna go back on the meds for a lil bit ...K?

  • This is the kind of song to listen to when you kill somebody. Violently.

  • This is the song in the scene Where Beatrix went all Genocidal on the Crazy 88s in Kill Bill.

  • the old wine cooler song hahaha

  • GOT THE N-ER-GEE CRISIS BLUES

  • yeah.. one of the kill bill´s songs

  • If these knees could stand it, I would get up and dance!!

  • nice 1 dude takes me back RIGHT BACK...wheres me scoot?

  • Lol, does anyone have the lyrics?

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no...

    Good song.

  • lmao!! actually nope, but it was a big hit!!!

  • It's in the departed as well

  • I remember this from the Departed. The scene where Leonardo DiCaprio beats the ass out of two Italians in a convenience store.

  • That's why they call it a movie. No ONE person ever "beats the ass out of two Italians," whether it's a convenience store, or wherever. Now, one Italian taking on two guys? Hmm, a little more believable.

  • bullshit i whipped 4 italians in a street fight here in N.Y. and you can go to the local police precinct and check it's on record

and i got copies of the medical bills i had to pay because not only could they not back up their they had dead end jobs with no coverage losers all around.

  • Oh my god, another legend in his own mind. I've heard it before from wanabees like you whose IQ is his shoe size. About the only place your overly estimated testosterone level belongs is your, well, I'll leave you to guess, that's if you can put two words together. Here's a hint: there's not much shade there. That's all I have to say. Anything further is a waste of any more of my time.

  • bring it jet jocky fuckin bring it youll be in a bodybag before chow time

  • either way unlikely, but with the element of surprise could happen. either way it a film like you said so what's the difference.

  • ROCKS

  • Heard it in kill bill xD suppose thats a 'bad thing' :P

  • This is a kind of underrated classic IMHO. Really catchy tune as was said before.

  • The Departed !!!!!11

  • this song was on recess schools out movie

  • Sorry for posting twice, my comment didn't show the first time I tried so I posted again and this time it showed both! My bad!

  • Mod classic, personally my favourite song ever!!

  • This is a really catchy song. I got it from Kill Bill :P

  • i used to listen to the oldies station when i was younger and they use to play this like everynight, but never said who it was lol good song

  • Also featured in Kill Bill when Uma thurman starts breakdancing with the swords, awesome song!

  • one of the best songs ever. Innovative for the 60's...actual at now...dirty & raw forever...excellent!

  • this is used in the DEPARTED when Dicaprio decks them two Italian fellas from Providence! - classic film*

  • thanks for all the history-good people -- keep it going -- still have the 45 -- what a great little song-- so much soul and fun!!

Rock on ..........love the "intro" the best -

so so cool - the band sounds tight

  • The post saying that the mono version of this song is better is correct. If you ever buy it, definitely go mono. BTW, I've always wondered if there's an Isley Brothers version out there. After all, they wrote it, but I've never heard of them ever recording or performing it.

  • I remember a guy called Kev Sugden being the first person in the Barnsley (Yorkshire England) area getting this back in 1970/71, Rest in Peace Kev...you and the sounds will live on.

  • i wonder why this song#s so unknown..

  • I have this in stereo from itunes. As good as that sounds, the mono version is preferred. It hits harder. Also, the vocals are not well served by wide separation on the stereo. It never sounded better than right here.

  • You guys may or may not believe me, but my father was the original singer for this band. His name is Roger Robbs, and he was born in Detroit, Michigan and WAS A MICHIGAN BAND. The myth of this band originating from wherever in Ohio is completely untrue. The rights to the song were sold to them because he and the band were owned by the Lickavolis, a big mafia from the Detroit region.

  • The Human Beings from Detroit were a totally different band than the Human Beinz from Youngstown, Ohio. This song was an original from the Isley Brothers but the Human Beinz from Youngstown, Ohio made this song famous and are listed in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. The track played above is from the Ohio band not the Michigan band!!! I know this because MY FATHER is Ting Markulin from "THE" ORIGINAL HUMAN BEINZ from OHIO!!!

  • what did he play the bass in the outro blows my mind everytime

  • The Human Beings from Michigan were a completely different band than the Human Beinz from Youngstown, Ohio. This song "Nobody But Me" was made famous by the Human Beinz from Youngstown, Ohio. It was written by the Isley Brothers and anyone can record a copy written song as long as the writers are paid. The song played above was recorded by the Human Beinz in Youngstown, Ohio and is listed in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. MY FATHER, Ting Markulin, is from the original band!!!

  • I always loved Nobody but Me, and still have the vinyl record, a treasure.

Human Beinz, the first step of Garage Rock!

    Peace, Alex

  • @guyturdface That's awesome that they are from Ohio, my home state!

  • What memories! In the mid 60's I was living in Boardman. We would go to the Old Barn, I think it was on South Av and also to Idora, or wherever the Beinz we playing. I used to work at the Red Barn on 224 in front of the Boardman Plaza. I remember Dick would come in a lot, driving his green 66 Fairlane GT, and order a chicken dinner. This was our favorite band.

  • Yea, great song. I remember all too well. I was only a almost teen, but it's still brings back memories.
