  • is that u-torrent i see??

be careful man. ..solid works updates are very sneaky

  • why need to split into groups?

  • should of bought a 50 dollar mike at best buy instead of a 2000 dollar mike

  • California is the best state for a reason :)

  • I appreciate the tutorial very much but have a suggestion. Checkout CADJunkie's Solidworks for beginners Youtube and maybe get some ideas of how to make things go a bit faster while being even clearer.

  • @ stekengineering, I have to say, I was cruising the internet to know what it sounded like for someone to use a $2000 microphone. Thanks so much for the vid, now I know! so helpful.

jk, that was me being an ass. But on the serious, when I start needing to know how to use solid works in the future, I will probably be giving your vids a lot of views. Keep it up.

  • Very nice metal coffin!

  • @suicidalkatt That would be the start to a car frame, but i guess you could in essence call it a metal coffin!

  • way too much money for a mic, a C01U - USB Studio Condenser Microphone would have done fine

  • @praxisnode As i said before, haha, it wasnt just for the mic. It was for Pro-Tools and the interface with phantom power + an extra mic. Turned out to be a really good deal, and it records my drums amazingly!

  • @stekengineering if thats the case then you got a good deal, props to you

  • still barely can hear you..

  • @whitebear26 Then you gotta crank your speakers man!

  • A 2000 Dollar mic? Why on earth that much dude? a 110 dollar SM58 would have done just fine.

  • @RB13240 Ha, well it wasnt just the mic, i bought M-Audio module for Pro-Tools, and i also play the drums, so i got 2 mics. They are really nice!

  • @stekengineering Lol fair enough. What mic was it? Anyways down to the real business. Do you do much with CATIA or just solid works?

  • @RB13240 I used Catia V5 for 2 years while i worked for Northrop Grumman. I hated it, and after i left i never used it again. SolidWorks can do every thing CATIA can, and its easier to use!

  • @stekengineering Yeah CATIA is such a finiky program. I've been using it 4 years and it still frustrates me to no extent at times. Especially during deadlines when it always seems to want to crash on me. But unfortunately it's used almost exclusively in the aerospace division. My biggest complaint about it is the kinematics which are terrible and how non user friendly the program is. But once you can get it to work it can do some amazing things.

  • @RB13240 Yes, i figured you worked in aerospace. Its the aerospace standard because of its analysis and surfacing tools.

  • @stekengineering I havnt tried solid works at all yet. I've been meaning to but I just never have the time to learn the program when I have other deadlines. Maybe some time soon I'll give your tutorials a try.

  • @RB13240 which version are you using V6 is allot more friendly now and everything is done with one mouse click making it so much easier. i still prefer solidworks just because i have 4 years worth of use and only 6 months with CATIA.

  • @jkhuskies09 I am using V5R19. I tried V6 and I really didnt like it, but then again I didnt give it anymore then 3 hours of play time on it.

  • @solidworks frank

i suck at this whole youtube thing. I was replying to your guys comments and accidentally deleted yours.

Anyways, thank you guys for commenting. If you have suggestions let me know! I am going to start making downloadable content available for my next tutorials.
