Look at the end. 6 characters, and it begins with an E. Not Medium, as Medium does not incorporate the orange fret. Certainly not hard, not enough characters.
Not to mention, the Hard chart, I believe, is a lot more simplified than this chart.

i saw a video of this song elsewhere and it looked slower. is there some sort of hyperspeed on rock band 2? and if so how do you use it?

Yes, and you go to extras> Game Modifiers and it is called "Breackneck Speed". It's around Hyperspeed 4 in GH3.
