Mobile has become a catalyst for so many new opps and transformations in traditional environments. Social media. Pictures & capturing moments at any point. Sharing information & current events. Entertainment. Emergence of on-demand healthcare. Financial services. Geo-caching. Games. Music. Connecting to people, the enterprise and the cloud. And it's only the beginning. As the old cliche goes, "location, location, location!" Here's to more excitement & opportunity in 2011! Twitter: @IanGertler
The world is mobile. I often talk about this in my Web training. Someone said that 35% of Web browsing is now on mobile devices. Do you agree? Love it!
Well done! I can't believe I have a friend that works IT who still is under the impression that smart phones are "toys" and he doesn't have wireless in his place lol.
id like to see the source that US consumers enjoy the lowest per minute rate of any developed country.
US is the only country where consumers pay for incoming calls and texts. so it may be cheaper per minute, but you are paying for a lot more minutes if you are paying for all incoming calls.
@moosekaw well I don't think cameras will die. Maybe, just the point and shoots, as some phones can do a better job taking a picture than some cameras. As for the profesional DSLRs... they're here to stay.
Can you please tell us your sources for the stats? We'd like to use them but need to source.

Do the money stats only apply to the U.S.? Or is that a global number (as it seems pretty low)?
