I just bought the latest version of this pen camera

it was 9.5$ including shipping on ebay

they improved the audio (no more hissing) and the video is sharper and less washed out, but for the exact same price , I think the keyring camera is a tad better

it really comes down to what format you need pen or keyring

There is no way this is 30 frames per second, I have a HD digital camera that is 30 frames per second and it is very very very quick and responsive and as far as the memory card, it doesn't effect it. The camera was $180 though.

yeah eBay is the best place, dont go for one with internal memory, get one that u can put a Micro SD card in, that way you don't sacrifice quality :D you can get 1280*960 for less than £10

10 fps camera effect is due to the memory card you put in.Try a class 6 memory card then you see the difference.The card you used cannot support the necessary writing speed.

Too much unnessasary (noise)sound on my HD pen, i bought from this dudes, /watch?v=uOhGlRXZPrM ! Im using it with VLC ! Maybe it gets better, when y put the videos on Youtube !?

I bought one of these and the image was jerky, not fluid at all. The individual frames are very sharp, but when you move the camera around or show moving objects it seems like a 10 fps camera. I do not recommend it at all. Do not get caught.

@munrais What SD card did you use with it? Chances are you either used the cheap card that came with the pen (if it came with one), or you bought one that is not fast enough. Buy a "Class 6" rated Micro SD card and try your review again. Please do let us know the results. I have one of these coming in the mail and I do intend to use the "proper" hardware with it to ensure it works like it should.
