But in this game at range you can easily take on SU-27/SU-33 at range with F-15 due to the excellent radar (if you know how to use it) but cannon only F-15 has no chance if I were flying the Eagle against Flanker and run out of missles its time to drop the nose, go to full afterburner and head to friendly airstrip to rearm
the F-15 can rely on it's excellent radar 2 go against Su-27 at distances BTO, but I can't c how it can withstand a supposedly "dog fight"- unless the Su-27 pilot is even dumber than the F-15 pilot who chose going on a dog fight against a SU-27! LOL

Well there made by americans what do you expect. In russia its probabaly the same but its russian pilots owning the americans. But honestly in my opinion if it were down to real war, the american pilots would a better force. I ain't saying the russians suck, they would give us a run for our money, but american pilots log thousands of flight hours to the russians hundreds. Also just to note, the isrealies shot down mig25 foxbats they are capible mach 3 planes, however they are like bircks to fly hence why the F15 could easily shoot them down and whats more the pilots flying them were in experianced against a foxbat the eagle hasnt got a chance in catching up but its monoverability has.
The pilot flying the SU33 was not a good one, at 1.49>1.55 i would have pulled a cobra monouver and your F15 would have just whislted right past me, same with the 2min part a cobra there and there would be nothing you could do. at 2.48 i would have just gone supersonic while using my rudder to turn right around using thrust as well and again you would have gone right past.
the su didnt start pulling till a second or two after the merge?? WTF poor fight!! the su can fly slower and pull greater angles!!while the eagle has to maintain speed and pull , IMHO the eagle cant cut it everything else being equal.

It depends on the pilot. What you say is true in that the Su-33 is a better dogfighter than the Eagle in the IR-missile regime, but the F-15 is actually a more stable gun platform and performs better at long range. Still, pilot skill won the day here, all things equal an F-15 should lose, unfortunately.
info for you YANK. The R-77 has a far greater operating range than the AIM-120. In shorter ranges, also the R-73 is superior to the AIM-9. In a dogfight the F-15 would have absolutely no chance either. Don't get me wrong, I think the F-15 is a brilliant fighter, but it's getting old.

The Eagle is the most durable and tested airframe, and no doubt the su-33 is a fine ACFT.even though I am a Eagle guy. I admire all Acft...and as for the aim 9x is a heat seaking air to air missle, the full capabilities are still classafied. as are the new aim 120s... so we can go back and forth all day on who is better... I also look at the what the ACFT has achieved in everything as well.....the Eagle is a veteran and old one. but this acft is the most copied airframe in the world.....
the missiles in lomac are VERY different from their real-life counterparts, for balance purposes. Also, the developer is a Russian company, so obviously the SU-33 is slightly overpowered compared to the F-15.

But honestly in my opinion if it were down to real war, the american pilots would a better force. I ain't saying the russians suck, they would give us a run for our money, but american pilots log thousands of flight hours to the russians hundreds.
