I had a Datsun 1200. My friend had the Honda 600 like yours. As I remember he used to drive it into the music building at San Diego State. When he did I'd lift it into the air with the rear bumper. He wasn't too happy about that. My Datsun was rear drive and the Honda front which put more weight in the front. I think the Datsun was the better car but the Honda is cuter.
@maplefreak64 Thank you! I have to use a translator service sometimes to search for parts for my little car. I Have bought some parts for my car off of Yahoo auctions Japan. But it is very difficult to set up a broker to purchase and ship them.
I had a 600 sedan in 1983. My mom bought it for me for $700, and it was so good on gas!! I loved it when I used to go to gas stations and people would want to look under my hood because they could not believe it ran with a motorcycle engine!! I wished I could have kept it.
Fantastic. I had one of these in high school. Everyone else had pick ups or muscle cars, I had a go kart; and red like this one, with matching rims! Wonderful resto job, I'm glad to see another survivor.
@bigarv65 Hello, and thanks for the interest in the little car. The wife and i love it. I had a 58 willys wagon before this, but canned it when fuel got above $4.00 a gallon. This car has been lot's more fun.
Thanks for the feedback. This car turned out to be a great project. And is actually fun to drive, unlike most of the other micro cars I have. Good luck with yours.

Very skillful Japanese. It is nice translation. (^^♪
You who obtain classic parts in a different language are admired.
I was mistaken in the name of the car yesterday.
The Japan name of a car is "Honda N600." (A standard model of Japan is N360. )
It is a language of Japan and is"ホンダ N600." (N360)
I beg your pardon.

My 1980 Ford Fiesta had 12"wheels, and seem big compared to those. What's the tire size?
Great restoration!

SO SO SO COOL. Man you have that little thing tip top! I respect that! You're a true blue example of Honda's durability and fuel economy!

Thank you. I ended up taking a door to my ppg paint supplier to color match to an area that was covered by the door panel and not faded.
