What isn't explained is how Namine rejoins Kairi, though I imagine that happens when Namine breaks Kairi out of the dungeon in "The World That Never Was".

Unlike everybody else, when Kairi lost her heart, and when Sora became a heartless, they remembered their human lives, therefore were able to be brought back. So, Sora and Kairi were alive while Naminé and Roxas were aswell (not meant to be.) Naminé stayed untill untill she chose to go back to Kairi (Become a part of her again) as did Roxas, so he could give Soras memories back 2 him .
