  • good job filming.. it's hard to hold a camera that steady on a boat.

  • the reflection in the water is awesome..

  • Hi there, where are your High & Low screw settings in relation to the screws being completed closed? I have a KOS boat and it will idle in the water, but stalls once I hit the gas. Any thoughts? Thnx.

  • @Siris74 high speed needle 1 3/8 - 1 1/2 out. Low speed needle 1 1/8 - 1 1/2. You should be very close if you are in these ranges.

  • Nice!!..Is it water cooled?

  • i liked when it did a nose dive

  • 24:sec nose dive

  • look how smooth the water is!

  • @lilboone9866 dood that water is not calm. its a little choppy retard

  • nice boat how fast dose it go stock?

  • @tommybuddy69 Hey tommybuddy69, the boat goes about 40mph out of the box or perhaps a little faster depending on elevation and engine tuning.

  • do you have to break in the motor

  • @dan97nichols yes the motor does need to break in

  • @dan97nichols yes the motor should be broken in but is very easy to do .. just run it easy the first time around.

  • was that at WOT?

  • great boat! submarine at 0.25 lol.

  • Go Coeur d' Alene!

  • whats the name of the song at the beggining?

  • Max speed?

  • @justinRkeaton Max speed out of the box is about 35mph.

  • i love whatching the videos where you drive along side the boat. you guys have great boats and great videos. keep it up (post more vids like this) =)

  • hi wondered if any1 could help me get started with a gas powered boat any websites or recommendations on sites danindevon U.K

  • ad some wings and you can fly

  • @thegoevi or make it water tight to be a submarine like at 0:25 sec

  • now this thing is smooth! awesome vid

  • The twin brushless should be that size.

  • Looks real

  • That thing would go well with a modded zenoah in it. It looks like its runnin a little wet? Can the hulls be supplied without the engine?

  • Can this be converted to electric?, im not happy with the gas reliability with mine.......it overheats in 30 seconds, and i go full throttle when its in the water and it only idles then cuts out.....any advice? tuning isnt doing anything......

  • 38 mph lol

  • does the king of shaves p1 brushless 35" run as well as that

  • pause at 1:15

  • Dub in some ocean racing boat sounds and then you have a realistic helicopter shot of an ocean racer.

  • i could watch that all day long

  • is it gas? or nitro?

  • @RCFANATIC1996

55" King of Shaves is Gas powered. We do offer a 34" Electric Version that hauls as well!

  • the thing about nitro boats is that you never know when its going to die. with electric you can feel the change in power when the battery is low

  • that thing is sweet

  • wow every time there is a 3 inch little wave, it catches air.

  • @mooshminky55 true dat homie

  • Awesome footage. Could you do similar video for Electric King of shaves?

  • just took delivery......and maan am i pleased......i still need to set it up though.....AWSOME!!!!!

  • can you run this in salt water?

  • yeh i think u need to clean the salt out of the water cooling engine head every so often

  • truly a great vid, this is how all gas powered boats should run, very scale and very nice. Post some more!

  • I'll see what I can dig up! = )

  • how many tanks are needed for break in?

  • Thats how an RC boat should run! Not around in small circles. The thing looks scale running like that. Like a real boat in the ocean swells.

  • Shit! I want one ha ha so cool, I think this is going to be my first boat.

    nice.

  • haha amazing that it went under the water at the beginning

  • Cant wait till i can get job so i can get one of these. Gotta wait till March:(

  • close call almost stuffed it at 25sec.

  • Ha Ha, Yeah, when it happened it was one of those "Did it just do what we think it did?" moments. It happened so fast. That was a great day. I haven't had that much fun in a long time. We're looking at doing a cross lake race next summer.

    Chad

  • very nice !!

  • nice almost looks real lol

  • nice!

  • im gettin one of these soon. its gonna be beaut

  • i would hate to be that engine lol

  • ive alwayus wanted to take an rc out on lake cumberland one morning and run flat out as far as i possibly could the waters like glass out there......

  • I have the Segad (same boat different graphics)... bad rudder design, but other than a great good looking boat for the money. A three blade prop is a must!

  • looks so real

  • I think I better buy one of these!!

  • get higher speeds for less money buy brushless

  • Thats awesome, but whats more impressive is the craft you were in!! could only hear the R/C, nothing from the boat you were in!! lol, nice toy though. I want one.

  • Look at 0:25

  • What is the top speed?

  • i know that this boat doesnt have a clutch. whut does the clutch do for a boat

  • A clutch will allow the boat to idle in or out of the water with out the prop spinning. When the RPM of the motor hits a specific RPM the clutch will engage and the prop will spin. It's the same principle as a clutch and clutch bell on a nitro RC car. You can fit a clutch on the KOS and Segad. It's a tight fit but it will fit.

    Hope that helps.

  • wait for it..a tiny jet ski will jump its wake any second lol

  • Little boat did pretty good. Quick question tho, was it going full throttle? And, what kind of engine is in it? It sounded a bit rich for a 3.5/6.5/7.5. Love the design tho!

  • It's a gas engine, 26cc not nitro.

  • We just put the big motor in my buddies, it is sick. If you aim the prop a little lower it will pick the bow up a little.

  • Duke-

Yeah, the KWA motor is a beast. It loves smooth water and will reward you nicely. Chop gets fun and a little dicey. The whole air under the hull principle multiplies with the KWA because instead of 40 mph with the stock setup your in the high 50's low 60's with the right prop.

  • awsome!! shame it wasnt a little smoother out there but the jumps out of the water sweet!!!

  • fue asombroso cuando se metio del agua

was amazing when got under water

  • This thing is awesome... I want one.

  • How does this boat handle choppy waters, small white caps from a windy day and such.

  • Spence-

It will handle chop just fine but you have to be really quick on the throttle as the wind can get under the boat, make it light and get it airborne just like the real thing. Don't ask us how we know this. = )

  • That was great, check mine out!

  • Thank you all for the great feedback. We had a lot of fun making this video. I have almost another hour of footage to sift through and we'll have some more up soon! -Vanceman, The boat was 100% stock right out of the box, in fact, we broke the motor in that morning! The only thing we tweaked was the drive line and prop angle, it took us under a minute to do. We'll have more up soon!

    Best Regards,

    -Team Venom

  • WOW! This video is excellent to see the running attitiude and should more than help sell this beautifully detailed boat ...especially compared to the first videos. Nice job! The fact that it recovered so quickly from the potential dunk was great, too, albeit in relatively calm water. I'm curious if that was a Stock/ Factory trim setting or did you guys tweak it a bit?

  • Fantastic! This is what scale gas RC is all about! What a great day.

  • I rarely give 5 stars but this is one of the best R/C boat videos I've seen. Nice work guys.

  • holy crap that was sweet

  • Did the windshield hold up on that dive?

  • If i didn't know better I would think this was a full scale off shore race. AWESOME footage!!!
