Now in Italian maps the gulf in referred to as IL Golfo Persico which means it has been called the persian gulf from the Roman and probably before them! would that put this old (and now rather boring argument) to rest once and for all.....

Yeah, too many anti-Persian movements, mainly created, financed and trained by Western powers, such as Britain, France, Canada and the US. But, they have no real popularity inside Iran. This should be taken seriously, though. But, if we take harsh steps, this whole thing will backfire. You know all the Western propaganda. Best strategy is to give our people education & freedom. (only slow reforms, quick reforms are too early for this type of society). They need a good living standard to stay.

A province has to have a mixed population of ethnic groups, so a certain group cannot outnumber another, especially in the Khuzestan province. Creating robust militarized zones, backed by spies around borders is good. These have to be elite forces who cannot be bought. The political system u described is the most suitable one for this region. But, if we get rid of the mullahs now, we don't know what will happen. Sadly, there are no good leaders who can rule our nation, only a bunch of traitors.
