Does something change on your channel (except for the type of the channel obviously) if you switch to something else?

ultimately, you will have to decide. It sounds like GURU might be a good choice, though. Remember that you can change it later if you don't like what you choose now. so far as I know, it's really no big deal what you set it to.

whith what setting i can upload longer videos??? because i cant upload a video that is 12 mins and it says its to long please help me

there is no setting to do what you want to do. YouTube allows only 10 minute videos for general YouTube accounts. I believe that YouTube partner accounts, however, are able to upload longer videos. But, I'm not certain about that.

No. Or, at least I did not when I changed.

That's what I do but it never works. Instead it just says "Please check channel description"

I'm sorry. I don't know what to say because it worked for me. I changed my channel type to guru.
