Rev 2:9 was addressed to the "church" in Smyrna. Since we know from Paul's writings that the church had neither "Greek" nor "Jew" we know that this message could NOT have been to Jews. The most logical interpretation is that the message was to people in the "church" who were claiming to be the Jews, or had replaced the Jews. Rev 3:9 suggests that these "replacement" people will NOT be kept from the hour of tribulation on the earth. Read these verses again.
