@CarManiac82 I bought a '72 Euro model tii from a chap in the States last year and shipped her down under. Mine is also inka orange. Although we are a RHD country, they are hard to find here nowadays and I've wanted to have one ever since I was a kid. They are a real blast to drive but very expensive for spare parts. I'm sure if you aim for one you can make it happen cause they really aren't too pricey to buy. And they're still plentiful in the states. Check ebay.

I CAN IMAGINE CRUISING THIS CAR IN CHICAGO DOWN THE EXPRESSWAY HEARING BLOW OFF VALVE PSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!! :o) ONE day :) I have to be happy with my 20th Anniversary GTI.

Wrong. The BMW 2002 was launched in 1968, not in 1971!
