I'm going to see this on April 5th. Can't fucking wait!! I've been listening to Green Day since I was 9 years old and heard the song "Basket Case" on the radion in 1994. This album is epic and the first time I heard it the whole way through I was completely overwhelmed with the depth of it and how close to home it hit for me. I was sitting in the bedroom of my apartment my sophmore year of college, with my headphones and the album jacket of lyrics, and was actually brought to tears.  Amazing

Hard to replicate the sound of Green Day. It just doesnt have that sound. To clean. The singers are not that good and they try to hard. I still love Green Day. They are my favorite band.

I've heard in at least one interview or video he says, "Hi, I'm Billie," or something along the lines and his nickname at school when he was younger was "Two-Dollar Bill", so he can't mind it too much. @DarkFireNacho Great show..Just a little bit of important advice, before you can do a musical in your school or anywhere, you have to obtain the rights to the music. Since the show is currently running, this is next to impossible to do. And, most likely, this will not be available for years. After it closes on Broadway, it will undoubtedly go on tour. So it would be advisable to do something like RENT which is a little easier to get the rights to. Either way have fun!

@SuperDrago35 I saw American Idiot at the 8:00 PM performance on Jan 2nd, and he came out about 15 minutes after the show ended, and stayed out there for about ten minutes, talking to fans and signing autographs, and he then leisurely got into an suv, not a police car. If he ran to a cop car, then there's a good chance there was a real threat to him somehow. It's pretty dumb to call him an ignorant prick, considering he's out there every night, and his safety is more important than an autograph.

@Garmichael1 there really isn't any hokey dancing in it. it's all incredibly good, and meant to be taken in all at once, rather than in a video that focuses in on certain parts of the stage randomly, making it look rather "hokey." if it helps, michael mayer and green day are in talks with different studios to make a movie out of it.
