So, you´re controlling te movement by the angle of that servos, that´s why you have that white bars.

Nice thing!!

But why you don´t use steppers? The servos are more expensive and you must control the angle and your system is not linear (due trigonometry) so, this device is not exact, and it´s harder to control.

why dont you make a virtual joystick driver

(on WINDOWS) (not MAC)

like ppjoy

and just retrieve the force feedback of the game (as it sends it to the virtual joystick/gamepad)

and make the servo's just shake a slight bit.

the harder the force feedback, the harder it shakes :D

and just little shakes for normal force feedback :D

It feels really wicked when there is FF in a mouse :P

actually, it's just processing(.org) and an arduino(.cc), so it's opensource and anyone can make this kind of system. with a little patience ;)

ahh right :s ahh well you never see macs being used for cool new stuff... what made you choose a mac over a pc? i cant think of any uses for this apart form the gaming sector, but even then, its uses would be limited

I always see the coolest things running on macs, so I don't agree on that observation ;)

However, because it's just running on processing and arduino together it is portable and runs on any system with java, I think.

well i mean allot of software is just windows and thats really frustrating, but since the x86 switchover iv seen more and more cool mac apps :D
