  • @fargonbastedge *their. Tool.

  • thank you so much for the video ,

  • lol retarded nomads...

  • @fargonbastedge why are they retarded cause theyre free cause they dont live the way you do? its sad how you judge i also checked some of you comments and i can tell you think your really smart smarter than everyone else complete lack of humility

  • @l3054 No, because there IQ's are lower.

There, I just debunked your gay little equality tolerance speech with science.

  • @fargonbastedge how is that science its just your statement also dont talk shit over the internet where you cant get hurt thats the sign of a bitch

  • What a beautiful & haunting chant of the steppes resounds at 3:45 - I wish this had a credit so I could hear more!

It is interesting to see how these nomads - as in times past - engage w/ the urban civilizations around them: in this case, one sees their cash commerce & sweatshop goods (clothing, containers, tools, etc) alongside their ancient subsistence. Industrialization annihilates the soul, purpose, society, beauty & nature - but it does get rid of parasites & endless manual work (for many).

  • haha all Tibetan babies have spiky hair. i had spiky hair when i was a baby and so did my sister.

  • sometimes i get so sad that the world is so fucked up. people cant see past their eyes or feel through their hearts. influence of cilvilized life is so strong that even the people who notice how wrong things are are turned into ignorance. ive even thought of killing innocent people as good just because there would be less of this cursed species poisoning the water and thrashing the land

  • MEDITATION AND PERCUSSIVE MUSIC ON MY PAGE. COME TELL ME HOW YOU ENJOY IT, GOOD OR BAD, AND ANYTHING ELSE. TELL ME HOW IT HELPS.

  • Beautiful to watch but so sad to see.. Living life as its intended, though we think our struggles are harsh as a so called civil social community".. These great people face the real diversity none of us could ever bare.. we make there life even more harder again by destroying the planet that consumes us. People should really start to realise instead of dramatize.. WHEN WILL "WE" START TO CHANGE OUR STUPID WAYS, we dont need a president parliment, king or queen to show us the way we already know

  • @OzReP KEYBOARD WARRIORS UNITE. "destroying the planet that consumes us"? You trying to sound intelligent and deep?

    Didn't work.

  • @NinjaPiratePenguin i spent some time trying of something to say to you about your comment. then i realized the best thing to write would be this that you are so misguided that its impossible to try to guide you. you are not missing, you are lost. not worth searching for. not worth anything

  • @CARBRRGN

No my love. I am perfectly guided. You are the one who is lost.

  • @NinjaPiratePenguin wake up to yourself wanker go back to playing with your ninjas pirates an penguins after that go tell mummy this c U nt on youtube is bullying me... we die an end up in the earth thts not being consumed by it.. wat do you call it. lil man

  • I am from Himachal Pradesh, which is where the Dalai Lama currently lives in India. There are many exiled Tibetans in my homeland, and it breaks my heart. but I can easily relate to the lifestyle of the Tibetan people. :) This was a beautiful video!

  • and by the way! the father is so adorable! haha :D

  • very educational, thank you

living as nomads is being one with the land and nature

they sound like they possess wisdom as well

  • ww, that was..uhm, inspirational, i guess. i would love 2 gotheir and prove th@ i can do somthin good in my life

  • Is this the Tibet that Bjork was cheering on in the olympics? or is was it different?

  • Anything for a simple life. These people won't have been guilty of destroying the world.

  • nice. thanks.

  • So amazing. So beautiful

  • wow what a beautiful people, I hope it never get lost!

  • The NAZI's, however, completely raped what the swastika meant.

  • It looks like it would be fun to be a nomad! Also, i like the music.

  • That was real interesting. I like to learn about other cultures. Thanks.

  • See the swastika in the left background at 6:30 ? I thought the "good" swastika was pointing leftwards... Why is it in the "bad" Nazi direction?

  • The swastika was stolen by the Nazi's from Tibetan culture. Technically there is no good or bad swastika. The right facing swastika is used in Tibetan Buddhist tradition. The left facing swastika is used in Tibetan Bon tradition (the indigenous religion of Tibet).

  • It's actually the other way around.

Right means good luck, left means bad luck. It's been like that in many cultures for thousands of years.

  • im left handed..............

  • Wow, those yak are beautiful. I've never seen yak like those before. Did you see how effortlessly he flipped that thing over? Now that's some skill.

  • This was beautiful family..the Tibetan people are beautiful people who suffered so much injustice:( 5 stars ! :)

  • nice video!

people often go for the easy way,is it the right way?

  • as long as things get done and the out comes are similar

  • wow

  • fascinating

  • This was beautiful.

    What a lovely family!

  • tashi delek to you, thanks for sharing this wonderful vid of us nomads...as also am nomad..May buddha bless you and Happy holidays to you.

  • This taught me a lot, thank you for sharing.

I loved the sentence in the end:

"People aren´t taking care of the next life. They only think about their current life."

  • @FemaleFreedomSeeker True this, also people care about whats now, and not the future.

  • "some people just want to be lazy! they think they have too much work" Wow, they are talking to us Americans and sivilized people

  • What a beautiful family! Thank you for sharing this:)

  • Hearing stories like theirs always makes me think of what is happines, and real purpose.

  • For a start this clearly goes to show that even Nomads worry about the future where as us `richer` places on earth worry aswell, but unlike us they dont have to worry where the next computer is coming or when`s my next car gonna be, they live happy off the yak`s just to survive (im stoned and wandering but found this very interesting) :)

  • even developing countries worries as much as the 1st world countries. But you have a point, nomad life is as hard but easy, whereas Modern Life is Hard and Stressful..

  • What do they use the yak dung for?

  • they use it as fuel..they burn it after drying it..very effective

  • Love this line: "People aren't taking care of the next life. They only think about their current life"

...probably this is why we are having all these arguments and approaches to this way of life.

    Great!

  • that was really interesting

  • I thought I wasn't gonna like this video, but I watched more of it, and it turned out 2 be very interesting. I don't get why they want 2 be nomads, it looks so hard. I think if they sell all their yaks for a lot of munny they could buy a apartment in the town, and get jobs. Wouldn't that be easier?

  • Easier? Maybe... But would that also be better for them?

  • They are happy with what they have. They would be richer but less happy-er.

  • he also mentioned he could not live without the level of milk and cheese in his diet so he could not consider moving in

  • @LEAF998 the reason why they wanna maintain their nomad lifestyle is because that's the only lifestyle they know. they aren't educated or have the type of skills needed to survive & thrive in the new cities of Tibet. even if they sold all their animals, they still wouldn't be able to afford to buy an apartment of their own. Continuing their typical nomad lifestyle at least ensures that they have food to eat everyday even if they don't have the latest new gadget or car.

  • Respond to this video...in the old days(before the chinese occupation), nomads could live off their lifestyle quite comfortably selling their animal products(cheese, milk, etc) but these days, there are tons of chinese businesses that compete with them therefore there lifestyle standard has declined in terms of value/status. don't think they're poor just because they reside in the yak tents during the summer months. they do own actual houses which they stay in during the winter

  • @heomak Yes, china is force fully taking the lands of Nomads, promising "better" lives. but later on they are left without any money to support their family

  • Wow the life of a nomad is very interesting i thought that like the first 30 seconds of the video i would leave but i dont know why but i liked it

  • So in the end, they're just saying that the animals will last longer than the money, or what?

  • Pretty much. What I guess he's trying to say is, that most Nomads no longer want to be nomads because it's a hard life, but he also says that other nomads sell yaks for cash, and the cash eventually goes away. Instead, this couple keeps the yaks and just sell butter/milk/yoghurt and yak hair.

  • I think he want to tell us that for him and his wife the most important thing is to keep tradition in spite of hard life. Other nomads are getting closer to "regular" people, but this couple is staying tough and keeps tradition in motion. Nevertheless they don't want hard life for their baby. It must be very hard to live like them.

    Sorry for my fatal english.

  • other than using th word fatal, your english is fine :)

  • @Uninvited642 They are saying that their lands, their county is rapidly being overrun by China, Chinese business men. You really have to read into how their lives are being changed forcefully.

  • @Uninvited642 Probably will.

  • amazing.
