It is a pity that the brutality of the Israeli nation overshadows everything in the Middle East. I've come to the conclusion that Israel is the real problem in the Middle East and the only real solution is to dissolve the nation in some fashion. They are in it because the IBA are paid up members of the European Broadcasting Union - the group of TV Companies that makes up the contest.
Its nothing to do with the others boycotting, its because the European Broadcasting Area covers Israel and therefore they are allowed, the same as Lebanon, Morocco, Libya, Tunisia and Egypt COULD, but show no desire to.

Can we just say the boarders of Europe are wrongly drawn..
Europe begins at Iceland and stretches across to the Ural mountains in Russia, then travel down to where the mountains end and go to the black sea then hook downwards past Georgia (inside the boarder) down past Azerbaijan then Armenia then what country is next to Armenia? Israel so cut through the middle of Israel and reach the mediterainian.. So Isreal if the boarders where proper is 50% Europeain. but it considers itself 100%

Georgia is syuck right beside Russia so why should It not be 100% In Europe its on the left of the Ural mountains.
So Is Israel and Aremnia. and they are just below Turkey.
Israel has more ties to Europe than Turkey. So does Armenia. Global positing does not matter, look how far away Iceland is it appears in American maps. So why is it automatically said to be in europe? because of ties. and ties keep Israel and the eastern Europeian boardering states in Europe so whats so hard to learn?

if only the Middle East were like that, Israel is not the problem, though, the Jews did lose their home to the Romans and eventually Arabs and the UN technically did steal the land for no reason to give to Israel, but the land means so much to both peoples that i don't think either should be removed, hopefully people can learn to understand each other.
this is a beautiful piece, though, and i love how they so smoothly and naturally flow between Hebrew, Arabic, and English.

It is a pity that the brutality of the Israeli nation overshadows everything in the Middle East. I've come to the conclusion that Israel is the real problem in the Middle East and the only real solution is to dissolve the nation in some fashion. I don't see how it can be saved under the current government of such extreme prejudice and evil.

For Israeli there is always another way. Bombs, bullets, starvation, walls, theft, etc. are all other ways Israel uses to approach the world. It and the U.S. are the ONLY nations on Earth that have an official policy of international assassination and lying. Israel should be boycotted for it's 80 odd violations of the UN resolutions.

Israel is not in Europe but they take part in European competitions such as Euro, Eurobasket and Eurovision. In Eurovision, broadcasters from Mediterranean countries like Israel, Lebanon, Egypt or Morocco have the right to [participate.

To Alex4u: other countries not europeans are cyprus and armenia. russia, georgia, turkey and Azerbaijan are not fully european. Morocco also competed. Not very europeian either is it?

Hi directorman, just to increase your knowleged about Eurovision, all the contries that are part of the European Brodcasting Union can participate in the Eurovision song's contest . Lebanon for example wanted to participated in 2005 they even had a good song an a great singer but due to their laws barring the broadcast of Israeli content they finally withdrew check this information here even in wikipedia, was a same Lebanon is such a great country and have wonderful singers like Maya Nasri, bye

Is good your idea, the countries of the Middle East have very good artists that the rest of the world, don´t know, It would be also very interesting to see a song's contest of eastern asian countries, and latin american countries... But it would be a pity same to take Israel with all their good singers out of Eurovision I dont know you but I really like them ;)
