@devilmanakira true. keep in mind though, this is back during my younger years where I was convinced that GXSCC+ was true 8-bit. I've been working with Famitracker and have found that this just isn't the case.
Some games, like the Japanese version of Castlevania III, had more sound channels than normal. I'm not sure how it worked, but I suspect there was another sound chip in the cartridge, making it a little expensive.
The video description has been updated. now there is a link for the program i used. If you want it, look at the video description, don't ask me. Also, feel free to subscribe if you want. You don't need to, but that's entirely your choice.
I doubt there even is a title, since X4 is a bit old game(That doesn't mean it's bad, it's one of the best games ever!) and since then they didn't use specific titles in game music.
in all honesty it doesnt sound that far off from the original >.> the precussion is the only thing thats noticably different since the original version uses electronic sounds anyways for the bulk of it. sounds great and i wouldnt mind a copy on my Zune some time or another xD
This is when emos sit down and cry.

GXSCC+
You put a midi in a conversion program and dump into a mp3.
There is no effort here.

So the NES console system is capable of holding this music in a game?
Sick NES remix man, very awesome.
galva07 2 years ago
Technichally it isn't. There wouldn't be enough sound channels to support it. but if there were, this is probably what it would soujnd like.

I'd only be able to provide a .WAV file IF I still had the original stack.
unfortunately, I do not have an MP3 link available at this time. May not ever.

Sorry to pry / nag, but would anyone happen to know the title of this song if it has any?
I've been looking forever for the sheet music / tab of this.. sadly to no avail because googling "Megaman X4 Zero first level tab" gives me nothing.
If not, oh well, I can still push my way through it by trial and error lol.
Thanks in advance

I actually have no idea what the title of this song is. If I find any tabs for it though, I'll let ya know.

Remeber NintendoBrad's video? This a response to it. click the link, and you'll find a download in his Video Description.
Darkmarine40 4 years ago
Oh, just so ya know, It is only capable of processing midi files. that means you'll have to Google various midis that you want to experiment with.
Darkmarine40 4 years ago
Oh, that's fine. I'm no composer anyway.
