do you ever do any work in the northwest (rochdale area) i ve been going out with my bedlington x whippet she been on the back end of 1 rabbit but smashed into a fence lol she shot up about 15 ft in the air and she had hold of 1 but it kicked her in the face and it shocked her so she dropped it and it ran through the fence and i ve now got an air rifle i ve had 2 ,very nice eating ;) fed 3 adults and 6 kids but this morning i went out with a friend and a ferret rabbits everywhere but no luck ;(

This is nuts I'm from over in Canada and I have never seen rabbits like this. I'm an avid hunter and I have never seen rabbits infest an area like this. Using a ferret is also quite unique I had never heard of it before watching this video. I don't even know if there is even legislation on "ferreting" here, if there is I have never heard of it
@HaygieBear09 A 243 for rabbits? thats a little overkill isnt it haha.i use a 32ft/lbs .22 Theoben Rapid S Type or my .17hmr Browning T Bolt and thats more than enough gun (out to 60 yards with the rapid and out to 150 yards with the T Bolt). I use a 243 for Deer....never for something as small as a rabbit though.

Seems you have a good success rate with the ferrets...i mean looks like the bags would be bigger for me by taking them direct from theri warrens...i can clip anywhere between 20 upwards with the rifles on a short day but with the ferrets looks to me like you get loads more .

I ferretted with the Germans when I was stationed in the black forest 30 years ago and it was a riot trying to shoot bunnies running out of a hole at Mach 2!! I'm guessing though that the areas you do a lot of this would be a no-shoot area though? Keep up the good work and the great videos!!
