I started getting into it alot when I was 17, before that I barely wore it. But I saw I had a natural thing for applying colors creatively, so I started getting into creating looks. I bought a book by Kevyn Aucoin & started seeing if I could re-create his looks & to my surprise I did. For the past 5 years, I just learned by practicing alot and taking risks. I consider make up an art-form just like painting. I love it ; )
