  • my class sucks so bad i have to go to youtube and learn this shit. so much for uni..

  • His pics are shockingly bad tbh-so bloody cliche and cheesy :-(

Maybe i am being a bit harsh- maybe its just the video of the image projections making them look terrible?

    I am not sure tbh.

  • @choppageworshipper They look like mostly from the 70's and 80's.

I agree that the photos really isn't to my liking, but it is what he is _saying_ that is important, not the photos themselves in my view.

  • "A bit like Marsdon Beach on a windy day"

    Ah bless her :-)

  • You great master!

  • "she was as bald as a coot!" LOLOLOLOL

  • finally, a sensible and informative full video that's answered my needs.

  • Good story. Makes me going to see the next 7 video. Thanks

  • lol @ 3:40 ......"corney as hell!!!" hahahaha

  • tough room

  • what is so important about if its high-low or midkey? i hate these rough divisions...

  • Is it me, or is he talking to a tough crowd?

    Great videos though, thanks!

  • He is talking to a tough crowd hehe :)

  • He didn't know what he was saying when he said Mick Rock copied off of him. The truth of the matter, as LaciousC stated, is that Rock and Mercury were overcome by Marlene Dietrich. So, they invented a look that was completely original and their own. Yes, this guys photo is similar to it, but Rock and Queen were unaware of his. He made a false allegation, and he should know better than to do so. After all, he admitted he didn't have evidence to support his argument.

  • Thx for this.

But he is still great :)

  • Ken is a great teacher an experienced photographer, thank you for sharing this lessons.

  • Nice job! Watch the whole series. Simple and informative with a few good stories thrown in. I've been in photography for many years but NOT doing portraits. This was a good refresher for me.

  • dry but nice. Good info

  • Watch all 8 parts to get the most from this tutorial. Some of the best advice is contained in the later sections.

  • Not bad .. a little dry .. but the duration of the video ... his explanation .. is something a new photographer should grasp.

  • As soon as that picture appeared, I instantly thought, "Queen 2, 1974". Didn't think Mick Rock would actually steal someone's idea like that though :S

  • "a light from heaven *snicker* corny as hell" OMG THAT MADE ME LAUGH SO HARD! I DONT KNOW WHY!

  • Super video

  • zeer leerzame video

  • I'm in love whith this man!!!! He really knows how!!!!

  • Marsden Beach? Why aye man!

  • This guy deserves a monument from the photo community. It is a person who really knows what he is talking about. I guess all the photoshop user don't care a crab what he talks about; they will fix every shot in the computer later.

  • Thanks!

  • super good

  • Thank a million!!!
