I never thought the werewolf ending was horrible. Just conflicted since you couldnt force Zarthian directly without the help of the werewolves destroying the entire encampment. Dragon Age 1 will always be better then Dragon Age 2 for these choices though.

in my opinion this is actually the middle evil decision. the ultimate good decision would of course be lifting the curse however killing whitherfang and swiftrunner and keeping the curse alive just for one mans vengeance seems more evil to me.

It's really odd to see Anora fight this battle for the Grey Wardens rather than for her homeland, but well... It was basically Alistairs speech (whose voice actor pulls it off a whole lot better, by the way) with the relations changed. Che.

@MrLoldude64 No, he's political savvy. Read Trian's journal? He woud have been a terrbile ruler. Read Bhelen's ending if you make him king? He saved Orzammar, not in a traditional or popular with the locals kind of way, but in a necessary way. And he has a castless wife Harrowmont, and the drwarven noble most likely would spit on. Really puts evil into perspective.

And while I don't know about the Warden-character, the three brother's generel upbringing suggests that Trian's and the Warden's political views and goals would have led to Orzammar's destruction. Read the Harrowmont-ending? Trian would have achieved exactly that and been less nice about it. And yes, you can argue with the greater good or the lesser of two evils in this case. 'Cause sometimes, the end does justifiy the means.

actually, if you pick belhen orzomar goes through a time of prosperity of trade and income. If you pick harrowmount he closes all doors to the surface and orzomar suffers from it

bad ending gives you the best companions, blood magic for mages, romance with morrigan and i dont know if this happens to everyone, but i got to kill alistair at the landsmeet. the only good thing i did was heal dog lol i like dog. oh and best of all ya get reaver if your a warrior and the best awakening armor early

The weird thing is that i expected the evil path to make you more powerfull but its not like that at all..

But still.. i bet the templars are much more helpful them the mages ate the final battle ¬¬

@dorguinas Not in the slightest. The mages nuke the archdemon with a ton of ranged spells and easily knock down the first third of it's health. The Templars just crowd around and get knocked down until they die without doing any damage.

I have to admit, i much prefer to have the Templars than the Mages and the Werewolves than the Elves, but I went the Good path and didn't want to kill Wynn and Leliana or get Zevran to leave my party. Oh well, thanks for posting this up, it's great!

You know, you can get both the Werewolves and Templars, and keep Wynn and Zevran. If you have Zevran in your party when you side with the werewolves, like in this video, just make sure you use a successful persuasion attempt on him to reduce his disapproval. For Wynne, when you get to Cullen in the tower, either say you will help the mages or wait on your decision until you see the mages for yourself. Then, either let Uldren turn them into abominations during the fight, or...

... help the mages, then after the battle, when you talk to Gregor, mention that some blood mages may have escaped. Irving will go with Gregor willingly, Wynn will stay with you, and you will get the Templars as allies instead of the Mages.

Finally, I found a vid that has the werewolves AND templars marching to battle at the end. All of the other vids here preferred to include the elves and mages.

Templars and werewolves make for a far cooler march scene, in my opinion.
