I had safety car one time out on track in career mode, so it is possible. The rules are really strange. In Valencia you can drive far over the curbs in the turns without spinning or damaging the car. But, and this I didn't even have in F1 2010, YOU HAVE BLEWN UP YOUR ENGINE! Congrats for that :-D

I'm in my second year of the careermode and didn't see any enginefaillures so far.Had some problems with kers and drs but no other faillures.AL drivers don't have faillures at all and don't make driver mistakes,no dnf's for the AL system...really anoying.If a AL driver hits you from behind you get a penalty even if it's not the fault of the player.Strange cutting corner messages when slightly hitting a cerbstone,no CC message when driving full into a corner.No safetycar in careermode what sucks
