@SynthiousWasteland Thanks for the reply. I bought my ESX new so it came with the manual which I have read thoroughly. Page 22 refers to using an external audio signal to trigger resampling rather than an external midi signal. I tried adjusting the autosampling threshold anyway just in case it helped but I have the same problem. Got another email from Korg when I emailed them a link to this video and they said when they used the exact setup I have in the video it just worked for them first time
