  • I want to be a Animal Conservationist once i finished college.

I love all the Big Cats.

    The Lions are lovely.

I want to go to South Africa and do some work with the cats, but need to get the money.

  • This looks like the most beautiful rewarding job even cleaning the poo looks fun!, how would you apply to become a volunteer? I'm coming to see the world cup in SA from Australia

  • great job

  • I love this place(: (:

i've been there twice it's quite possibly the best experience ever.

  • I would love to do this, but what's the average age? I worry that it would mainly be 18-19 year olds.

  • Hi,

Thanks great you're thinking about going to South Africa! We get all ages at the Lion Park! The majority of people are 18-25, but 41% of our volunteers are over 25! If you'd like any more information just visit the link in the info box at the top right of this video.

    Happy travels!

  • LOL to think I was worried about being 22 :P I'm planning to go at the end of next year - just have to save the money!

  • 22? You're a positive spring chicken! That's great that you're planning to go - if you've got any questions or want to know more about the project our travel guys are always here to help at 1300 88 15 90.

    Happy travels!

  • love to go there and cuddle with the lions.

  • i went there love it

  • @shortydoowop9 Glad you had a good time!

  • Where can I get an application? I WANNA WORK THERE!

  • Hey Trent,

That's awesome - the project's called 'Work with Lions in South Africa' - there's a link to all the info in the video information box to the right of the video.

    Happy travels!

  • hi there,

i have checked the i-to-i website, there is £1195.00 writtten on the trip. does this mean i have to pay that amount to join this trip/job?

really love this video, hope i can go one day!

  • Hiya,

Glad you like the video! That's right - £1,195 is the cost of the trip for 2 weeks - hopefully you'll be able to save up and we'll see you in South Africa soon!

    Happy travels!

  • Hi,

Regarding your question, no one pays to volunteer with i-to-i. However, our volunteers do pay a fee that covers food, accommodation, pre-departure preparation and 24hr support in-country. Our volunteers' placement fees also cover other 'back-office' costs including product development (checking projects are safe and worthwhile), marketing so we get a steady stream of volunteers for our projects and staff costs and overheads in the UK.

    Hope that clears things up!

  • where's my comment?

  • Don't you have to pay for i to i? So it's not exactly volunteering, it's paying to work. I think if someone's gonna work for free the least the beneficiary can do is host them

  • i went in and played with a white lion named slash he brought me a stick and i kept it. i had a silver braclet and the lions stalked it! lol he bit me a few times no harm done. cant wait to see him again!!

  • right when i turn 18 i'm doing that @.@ but for now i'm probably going to do the "Hands-on work with endangered wildlife in South Africa" one when i turn 16 =3 just one more year to work!!!

  • great, really some kind of paradise....:-)

  • I love to do something like that. Where can u search on the web? I'm from Sweden

  • can you do that when they are hungry?i think not.

  • I`ve been to this park a couple of times already. I always enjoy the visit and especially cuddling the lion cubs and feeding the giraffs :-)

  • Very well made

  • It is amazing!

  • amazing
