Both the Porsche GT1 and Nissan R390 were some quick machinery, a shame both were plagued with problems, leading to a DNF by both Porsche cars and only a single Nissan finishing in 12th.
@Hasseta Considering he placed second to Alain Prost in the championship in 1985, scored those five wins (two with an uncompetitive car) and won here at Le Mans, I'd say he's far from "sucks".
Le Mans 1994 - 1999 best years!!

I loved this era of Le Mans... The Porsche 911 GT1's, and McLarens were great looking race cars!

@gurusson I know right? Now GTs are considered as traffic in the eyes of the LMP drivers.

wtf? alboreto was leading? he's a very bad driver .. in f1 he didnt win at least 1 race ..

@Hasseta
just because a driver sucks with open wheel cars doesn't mean they suck with closed wheel cars.
JD Deletraz was able to win an LMP2 class at le mans and a GT1 class at a 24 hours of spa (i think).
