@dyskolia TESLA invented the AC synchronous motor that made AC power distribution grids usefull for industrial applications (more than just lights) and pretty much created the electical power system used throughout the world.

He also invented neon and florescent lights when that sack of shit edison refused to sell him any light bulbs for the world fair in chicago.

When you have accomplished as much as Tesla, THEN you can experiment on the fringe with some credibility.

@MrHobiecat I think you may be wrong about the "neon" part of your posting about Tesla. He invented a glow discharge lamp but I don't remember it as being a neon lamp. I think he used a different gas.

Tesla also invented the induction motor. This is what really did it for using AC power to do mechanical things. The synchronous motor was only one method of doing what was done with it. It is handy be less important than the induction motor.

The Wright brothers studied the science known in the day. The idea of the "magnet motor" has been tried repeatedly. It has been disproved repeatedly. I've seen many "magnet motors" and have come to a single conclusion about the great majority of them - they'd actually turn at least one rotation longer without the magnets. They typically are attached to the same story: there's a prototype or they've gotten inspiration from someone else's prototype that allegedly "worked" but there is no formal evidence of the prototype to be had. The worst experiments don't even take energy or work into consideration and purely rely on "magnets dur hur."

I don't waste my time on things that I already know can never work. I have explained why they won't work.

I have instead just spend a few hour of today figuring out a way to save a little bit of energy. It isn't much but since every bit helps, I feel it was worth it. The savings will only be about 0.07W per unit sold.

Mr. Anonymous, This is precicely where we differ: Old plain physics versus quantum, vacuum and zero point energy! No argument there. My ALME works as a mechanical system but not in perpetual mode yet. What is very promising is the noticable difference (about 35%) in lapse time for ALME to come to a stop, when I run it clockwise and then counter-clockwise at same RPMS.
