  • I have always loved this tune. Awesme job.

  • > Für Elise<

  • Lovely music. I've never heard of a Wind Synthesizer before. But more impressive were the orca - how did you train them to synchronize their swimming to your playing??? And doesn't the freezing air (and dampness) affect the sound?

  • very beautiful!!

  • Perfect music to go along with the scene! And I agree with you about the fact that this instrument is still relatively unknown. I love these synthesized instruments and the sounds they produce.

  • Wonderful. I lo♥e it !

  • I got sleepy hearing this

  • Did anyone else get calm and then start to get sleepy while hearing this??

  • Beautiful!!! Soothing, hypnotic; make one want to drift off to lands only imagined. Thank you!!

  • Beautiful!

  • You transform ANY music into a joke and slaps on the shoulder, Mozart and Tchaikovsky, performing their music not the best way. You kill those feelings of which they speak. Yes, even Bach and Beetchoven were jokers, but only SOMETIMES. For them music was never just a nice decoration of life, only its background, as for you. “Through suffering – to the delight”, - said Beetchoven. We must listen to great music by soul, but don’t to distort it by turning it into a circus.

  • Marvelous...

    Many thanks.

    ciao..ciaou

  • So beautiful video!

  • sublime performance...

  • NOT A GOOD PLACE TO FALL IN THE WATER !!!

    LOVE THE WIND SYNTH !!!

IN MY FILM SCORING RECORDING STUDIO DAYS, THE COMPOSERS USE TO USE THIS INSTRUMENT A LOT - EVERYDAY IN FACT - PEOPLE WOULD BE SURPRISED HOW MUCH THIS VIRTUALLY UNKNOWN FAMILY OF INSTRUMENTS IS USED IN TV AND FILMS.

  • @chpnlzt Thanks for commenting. I am still amazed that the wind synth is still so relatively unknown. It is such a versatile instrument and gives such a 'live' touch to midi (which can get flat and unemotional). The wind synth allows for so much more control and expression.

  • Fantastic video an other beautiful playing and great video subject.

  • Beautifully done John. :)))

  • kokoro no furusato!

  • Is magnific.I think it's a flut

  • When I stayed at my grandparents as a child, my grandmother would wind a small music box to put me to sleep and it played this tune. It is truly one of my favorites and evokes warm memories. Thank you for sharing.

  • Great video and nice music.

  • What is that instrument? It's not a flute.

  • @Pug40 The instrument is a 'wind synthesizer'. It is played like a wind instrument, is breath sensitive and even has a reed to allow bending notes - But - it is electronic; thus not only does it have all of the expressive capabilities of a wind instrument but it also has the technical diversity of sounds provided by any midi instrument.

  • Sooo beautiful!

A brilliant creation! Fantastic music! Thank you John!

  • Is that the Prince William Sound?

  • WUNDERBAR!!!

  • wow, very nice! I love this piece - you play this very very good, with heart and soul!!

    greetings Hella

  • JOhn you amazed me with your great talent! This video is so beautiful to watch and listen too! ;D

  • What kind of flute is that? O.O

  • @iamlivingbubbly It is a 'Wind Synthesizer'. It can be set with fingering patterns of either a flute, clarinet or saxophone. It plays generally like a clarinet. It is breath sensitive (the harder you blow, the louder) and has a reed to bite and bend notes. It has all of the expressive capability of a saxophone and all of the enectronic capability of a midi keyboard. Thus it can be made to sound like any instrument.

I hope that explains the instrument.

  • @noteworthystudio Thank you! Now all I have to say is WANT!
