This is terrible, i have an african grey i could not imagine if he was one of those birds...What all these sick people is the world would do just for money is heartbreaking =:(
@aknames are you dump, there that color because the the grey that looks black is probably wet, and the african grey is brown because it probably has dirt on it, retard!,
Beautiful video, heartbreaking. It really is like with Jews and Nazis, and sadly this isn't the only story like that involving humans even today. From hunting and mass stray dogs massacres to the concentration camps today, and the world knows they exist today and they still happen. Too many subjects that are titled "This must never happen again" yet it's happening all the time! But come on, let's do something about anything that we can! At least!
The thing most people miss is that the birds don't live as long out in nature as they do in "captivity". That's the cold hard truth. It goes for practically every domesticated species of bird there is. Their life expectancy doubles in captivity as it does in the wild. I'd say it's okay to have parrots and things as long as they're given as much freedom as possible without it being dangerous for them. Let them keep their wings and give them as much non-cage time as possible. :-)
@cattybound2011 Of course. I have an african grey and when the weather gets good again he will be even taken out with a soft leash (so he doesn't get lost and the gentlest way that I could find) and he can fly around outside and look around, walk around with me. :) Otherwise I keep my both parrots as free inside as possible, one even sleeps outside because he likes one particular spot and I don't have a heart to deny him that :)
I had to cover my eyes at the end. I knew what it was but couldn't look. If you own a grey (and I do) or any parrot, you should know, even if it was hatched in captivity, this is the bird trade BUSINESS. Your sweet little lovey is your captive and sadly, we can't let them free even if we want to. Let them be born free and stay free. They have a unique gift, the gift of flight and of freedom... how dare we take that from them! We can only try to give our captives the best, it will never be enough
@tiedyekris ...which is why they shouldn't be kept as pets at all, not wild caught, not captive. We don't live long enough to care for them, they belong in the wild. I have a rescue Grey, she's the joy of my life - but if she could be free, I would rather have that for her. People need to realise that wild birds do not make suitable pets in the way that domesticated animals do.
ww.equal money. org - lets bring life back to life - all of this happens because of the current money system that allows capitalism and that gives the human the wnat need and desire to exploit nature and everything it can for money and profit, lets and capitalism and bring equality with a new money system that allows no one to capitalize. I ma a South African and I have 5 gray's myself. I stand for a new monetary system for all life, animals and plants so the humans reign of terror can end.
this absolutely makes me sick to my stomach and reinforces my extreme loathing of the assumed superiority complex of humanity. we are mere insignificant dots of existence. these creatures were around long before we were and as you stated, our planet is being gang raped by money hungry criminals with dead hearts. how can you look into the eyes of any helpless animal and think that it is ok to do this? how? i simply cannot fathom this. and i will never forgive this. thanks for sharing
