I got tickled you shaking your monitor...kept waiting for bolts n parts to start flying every where hahaha! what I did see is...either that monitor was leaking radiation or you are the lucky recipient of DEW's, Direct Energy Weapons. It's seen well at the end when the monitor is still. Do you see what looks like business...movements. take a look again and you'll see what Im talking about. majority of people r getting hit w/this. figurng out send it thru electrical lines 1 way that is
Ever notice the line that appears on monitor's when they are being filmed?
well if you snap your jaw quickly, you will be able to see them, especially if there is more than one..... weird huh? Works best in an office/call center
how come the bike is visible when the camera is shaking, optical illusion? thats cool that ppl understand whats wrong with the monitor, but not how wierd the fact is that shaking the camera could spread out the signal? (im no pro though)
Images are made by a little dot that tracks really fast across the screen making one line of the image then doing it again a little underneath making the next bit of the image etc.
This is done by two sets of magnets. One for up and down motion and one for sideways motion.
Your up and down magnets are fucked so its doing all the lines for the entire screen in a little tiny vertical area instead of spreading them out over the whole screen.
thank you for posting the glitch. a hotfix has been applied and there is no need for a server reboot. if you continue to experience any issues please shout "tech support' at the top of your lungs and an agent will be with you shortly.
I know nothing about...well, much of anything when it comes to stuff like this, but man, that's pretty awesome. xD I have to say I'm glad my computer hasn't gotten to that point yet, but I think it's rad...
What's going on is the magnet that normally causes the cathode ray to move up and down is dying\dead. The left-right movement is still working. When you move your eyes up and down very quickly (60 Hz), you start to see the image because you're doing the job of the magnet.
apretzelfan is right, you arent going experience many quantum effects on the macroscopic level. Quantum weirdness would leak out into the environment and Newtonian mechanics prevail.
anyways your eyes pick up light at about 70 Hertz per second Sound familiar probly is thats the resolution on your TV incase you didnt know anyways if you get something lower then that then you basically see nothing and there you have it unfortunatly that had hardly any imaging but what you did was alow the image to get larger because you slowed down the freq think about a guitar string pluck it
umm yes this is a very good umm Example of Physics kinda hard to explain typing its kinda of the whole quatum physics thing with the observer and light. just let me start off by saying everything you see say on a monitor is in 2D no matter how much you dont want it to be Dr Quantum says he is 3d but in reality hes 2d still umm your eyes project an image ill just say less then a second obivously or over halfof use would be dead lmao
No, I had the Buel as my wallpaper and then a few weeks later my monitor started doing that. No tricks here. Someone told me is was the raygun dieing or something with the internal yaw? Not sure, but it is weird. I got rid of the monitor and got the new dell 2407 A04! Works nice! The monitor is sittin in the garage if anyone wants it to disect it.
Well, hmmm.... perhaps the signal being sent to the screen is present until you unplug the monitor cable to the computer. The monitor is still receiving power (still plugged into the wall outlet), just the on and off button channel might be bleeding. The connection is decaying like everything else does. lol.
Its called a tube tv

Super simplistic terms:
Images are made by a little dot that tracks really fast across the screen making one line of the image then doing it again a little underneath making the next bit of the image etc.
This is done by two sets of magnets. One for up and down motion and one for sideways motion.

Think of it like this:the whole picture is being drawn on that 1 line,1 line at a time like always. So movement stretches the line out in your eye...
