When you run the bench, look at your FPS. Anything over 25 FPS means you can run the game and not have too many problems. Don't go off the bench score.
Gonna let you guys know a few things about this bench. Simply put, it's crap. It's made by nVidia NOT SE, so naturally they would want ppl to think they have a lower score to go out and upgrade when they don't need to. I have seen ppl with the best gaming components get hardly a 3k score, and I have seen ppl with less than minimum requirements get like a 5k score. I get a 3.3-3.5k score with an Intel core duo E5200 2.5, 4 gigs ram, GeForce 9800GTX+ no OC.
me and my friend were beta testing the pc final fantasy 14 version i think it goes by min requirements •CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo (2GHz) \ AMD Athlon X2 (2GHz)
it benchmark at max settings LOL beta testing fun
•RAM: 1.5 GB Ram
•Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 VRAM 256 MB or equivalent
@Yun2404 don't recommend it if you are starting out and know just basics, firstly i would recommend getting close to your OS and figuiring out different tweaks also consider learning on how to use the BIOS first and foremost and what it does
search online for basic tutorials on how to use the BIOS
again i do not recommend you jump straight into overclocking without proper knowledge of how things work
start on learning what all the bios settings mean for that particular machine
i gotta say the benchmark looks amazing best graphics for ffonline ever
for those of you with 5000 series ATI cards this bench only worked for me using the lastest drivers 10.6 and of course if u haven't updated ur DirectX make sure to do that, Micorsoft Directx web setup
@MegaRush1984 I have the same specs and got same score, I bought a new processor for it. Dont waist your money on a graphics card, its your processor, I have same thing :(
1 minute ago I scored a 1700 with 2GBRAM DDR ATI Radeon4600(1gb) series, AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955 Processor 3.20GHz. What do you guys think I need to improve on to play FFXIV?
4227, this game is more CPU heavy though. I have an AMD Phenom 2 X4 965 BE @ 3.4GHz, and a Sapphire Radeon 5850 Vapor-X @ Stock Speeds, but my buddy by comparison has a 4481 Score, and has a Phenom 2 X6 1090T BE @ 3.6GHz, and a Sapphire Radeon 5770 Vapor-X. So there you have it :).
@mbe102 his score is higher because his machine has 2 more cores and a extra 200mhz, that is a nearly 58% increase in overall available cpu power versus a 6% or so difference in scores, or roughly equal to the 200mhz speed bump between your clocks.
The fact that GPUs aren't the same in performance is not going affect a test like this until you go over 1920x1200 so it might not be solely that it is a cpu heavy game but that at those resolutions your are cpu bound more than gpu bound.
Got like 3.7k with a 5800 + quad amd x965 and 4gigs of ram

Yeah, you're right, thank you.Too dangerous.
My pc is good enough no need to do this at all...
Just did some research and i found a another way which could work.
My Pc has Intel-Turbo Tech but its not active. I'll learn some Bios basics
and try this, seems to be easier and safer @.@
Its a small overclocking feature, so you could say.
Yun2404 1 year ago
Could you tell me how to?
I would but i think i would destroy my pc. :P
Googled it but sounds high, no sure if its safe.
All what i know about Pcs are the basics.
If you know a very good guide, maybe...

Inter Core i7 CPU 920 2.67 GHz

Any suggestions why not higher?

@Yun2404 You need to AT LEAST overclock your processor to 3.2

@mbe102 This is with the display setting at 1280x720 though, because not all of myself and my friends monitor's support that resolution (1920x1080.)
