@roadjournal Any long bone (femur, tibia, iliacus, head of the humerus) can be used; basically, anything with a marrow core and a large enough surface area.
This is a technique use if you cannot establish an I.V. in a patient's vein. The needle goes into the marrow of your bone. Fluids and medications can be given by this route just as effectivly as an I.V.
How does this not hurt more? It looks very painful.
