Hi, the fish were just in when this was taken, but they were pretty relaxed. It is normal behaviour although they are more calm now that i have them for a while. It also varies depending on the other fish in the tank. I put some Busemani's in the tank and they don't panic as fast any more. As long as they have good colors everything is fine. When the red dissappears, something is wrong. Good luck with your tank and fish. :)
Were the fish well established when this was taken? I got a shoal a few days ago and their behaviour is much like this, which is visually stunning, though I did want to make sure they weren't stressed all the same. Their colours came out more or less overnight(I put them in at lights out), so that's a good sign. They're feeding well and they approach hands(the entire tank does, pearl gouramis, glowlights, peppered cories and cherry barbs - cuties!), so I think I have some nice stock.
