Stop hating. Iron Maiden are from a background that's years old. They don't have so much any new fans, or younger generations getting into their music. Music has to evolve. Call me crazy, but I'd say Metalcore is a very dominant genre in terms of none-mainstream music. Just because you don't like the sound of something doesn't make it suck. Any band that achieves any form of a fanbase must have talent in order to attract appreciation for their music. Whether that be through their sound or lyrics

I'm disappointed in this. I mean I know you can't compare Bruce with Austin, but I thought Rise to Remain would still be better. Bruce's early work is much better than his son's songs I think, but that's just what i think. Rise to Remain can be okay when they aren't screaming and growling, but maybe I havent given them enough of a chance. Hope i can get into it lol

Bruce has been the frontman of legendary metalacts for over 30 years - of course he's a more accomplished and better singer than Austin - but Rise to Remain sounds amazing, both vocally and musically. People make their own fortune, and I couldn't care less whose son he is as long as he delivers some world class vocals.

@YourMNKY ich war die "scheiß tribüne" :D dort oben war der sound anscheinend ne ganze ecke besser, aber man hat gemerkt, dass der mischer vor allem mit der mischung aus shouten und normalem gesang nich klarkam. dem hätte man einen kompressor schenken sollen, dann wärs schon 10 mal besser gewesen. bullets scheißsound lag aber nicht am mischer :D was mr dickinson angeht, kann ich als sänger nur sagen: er war okay was die zeit zwischen den songs betrifft - aber er kann noch ne menge lernen

@hardlypinxt The song is about a powershift in an abusive domestic relationship. The first half of the chorus is from the patriarchal abuser's perspective (the blame), while the second half is a comment on "purifying", or fixing yourself before you become the monster! Hope that helped x
