  • CCCOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLL!

  • @MrJM1803 Thanks!

  • Impressive!

  • That's the one from Voyager right? Anyways, that's really cool, you should try making ships(Voyager, Enterprises, and maybe even DS9).

  • very cool :-)

  • Are these for sale? Do you have other models as well?

  • @InuYoukai305 Yes, they are for sale. Check my other videos for the other model Tricorders I build. I also build Phasers. If you want pricing, please send me a private message. Thanks!

  • @erik814u2 How much would you sell this one for. I know these are pricey, but love to have one one day. Just wanted to know how much you sell them for. Thank you.

  • Very cool video and tricorder. Wondering why you call it a Hero though. Hero is a word that describes a screen used prop... If it wasnt used in the show and visible on screen then it can not be called a Hero prop.

Either way its was a great job on the tricorder.

  • @eviltig Actually, that's not correct. The words "Hero" and "Static" are used in conjunction with one another to describe a prop that either has lights and sound or deos not. A "Hero" prop has functioning lights and sound, whereas a "Static" prop is completely built up in terms of paint and graphics, but does NOT have any lights or sounds.

  • @erik814u2 Hey just so you know Im not trying to be a prick but "Hero Prop" by definition describes a high quality prop used on screen for close up shots. To be a Hero prop it has to have been used during the shooting of the show or movie and be recognizable in the video (usually close ups) these are different from the stunt props. I have 10 hero and 2 stunt props in my collection and you can see the stunt props are lacking in a big way (lol) Google ( definition of "Hero Prop" )

  • @eviltig I'm not trying to be a "p$%!&" either, but then you are essentially saying that all the prop makers on all the forums are not using the word "hero" correctly to describe the props they build and I highly doubt they are all wrong. Not to say that your definition is incorrect. However, in the prop building community, we use the words "Hero" and "Static" to describe a prop as I explained in my previous response: "Hero" has lights and sounds. "Static" does not.

  • @erik814u2 Pretty much. the prop replica sites I go too call them working or functional props.

  • @eviltig Next time you see one up for sale on eBay by another prop maker, take a closer look at the tilte...you will see the word "Hero" in there if it is a "functioning" prop.

  • Are you selling these?

  • @sffilk I just sent you a private message.

  • @erik814u2 Reply sent.

  • How is the scanner held in the pocket?

  • @bravoelliot Read the description!

  • Looks great! And I am very impressed with the new ratcheting sounds. I hope those are all on his new sound boards for the MK VIIs and such!

  • @Iams001 Hey, thanks! Unfortunately, those ratchet sounds are mine and will only appear in the Tricorders I build. Those ratchet sounds were my creation after hours and hours of splicing, modifying and fine tuning on my computer. G. Mros already knows to not distribute these sounds to anyone else and he's a man of his word. Sorry.

  • @erik814u2 haha thats cool. I think they have the sound in Elite Force, but I ordered my last tric electronics for a while and its already done so its a little late anyhow. But still, that looks awesome!

  • I just love tricorders they are probably my favorite star trek device I know that someday I will get a prop like this when I get the money lol good video I love to see all your props

  • @psychfanatic22 Thank you very much!
