I'd totally rather be wearing the neon clothes from 2015 than what we're probably going to BE wearing after Lady Gaga fucks fashion up. Not to mention the enormous amount of hipsters and they're clothing tastes. Yuck.
Those "shades" may be modeled after something futuristic but they SCREAM 80's XD
And also...I'm wondering if they ever replayed the second CM sometime after it was originally aired. Cause I remember it like REALLY well...like...it was aired less then 5 years ago.
Well I used to think the same thing, but then I thought that it could be worse: going through a flannel-wearing /dreadlock- haircut phase with a taste for grunge, would consider all the awesome cartoons like I watched in the 90s Swat Kats to be childish!! [OH NO!! Spare the thought!!] To really experience the 80s, we should've been born in '69 at least!
Oh..did not consider that..I mean why did people even wear flannel.. It is the worst clothing choice ever! Yet, all the cartoons in the 90s were awesome. I mean freakzoid, doug, old simpsons.. :D
One word: GRUNGE. In fact, I think those 2 will forever be linked. Grunge = flannel.
Considering the crap fashion I see every waking moment, I prefer flannel!
PS: I didn't mean to rain on your parade, it's just that if you want to experience the 80s, ain't it better to be able to have the freedom to do so, instead on relying on your parents to let you go to the arcade? Or having to grow up in the angst-ridden '90s afterward?
Still... growing up in a pre-9/11 world, is pretty tantalizing.
@Canadianabanana Nope sunglasses will look better than that in 7 years actually 5 years now, I remember these solar shades weren't like Oakleys, they only shield the front of your eyes not the top bottom and sides like a pair of Oakley o-matter frames will. A major drawback is I guarantee they do not block UV light either.
i remember the pillsbury commercial

I still have the round yellow and blue ones with the awnings. My sister had the asymmetrical red and yellow ones, but I doubt she still has them.

I bought the pink solar shades with my allowance money and was then given the red and yellow solar shades, for a present.

i had the black ones and the yellow ones with brims on the lenses. I think the red and yellow ones were the most popular.

Yeah, the "woo woo woo woo woo..hey what is everybody looking at?" makes me really think I would see this commercial as a pre-teen in 1995-ish.
