OS are great carvers, but the trucks are a bit high maintenance. Loaded also carves really nice. Sector 9's are decent for all-around riding. And Rayne and Landyachtz dominate DH riding.

hey I've ridden the Pintail series from Sector 9 and I ride the Bamboo Pipeline right now... if you like flex plus support, the Pipeline is sick. It has raised edges so you really know where your feet are when you bomb, but it loosens up and carves quick too for being a longer board. You won't bottom it out unless you stand on it and hold two walls and stomp down hard (I weigh about 140).

well, originals trucks are made with springs, so they can carve real fast, and the apex is super flexy, but a little too flexy. So ima buy a harder board, and not a carve-able trucks so i can push easier, and bomb hills easier.

@TreyCHILL the reason that they got squeeky is because you probably broke the plastic wave cam in your trucks. They are cheap and easily replaced, If u want trucks that are good for bombing though, go with paris trucks and venom downhill bushings, i have gotten mine close to 50mph no problem

Don't listen to him, I have a sector 9 bamboo. The board has good flex, it carves really well, and stays sturdy at speed, and mine is a stock set up. I don't abuse mine however, I dont ride it on dirt, and I keep it clean and inside when I'm not out riding it.

Despite what other misinformed people say, Sector 9 boards are really solid. I have the Cosmic Weave with Gullwing Mission1 trucks. It has a ton of flex and pop just like the Loaded boards, only for half the price. And if you want to carve harder, just loosen the trucks. There are a lot of different shapes out there so look at some websites to see what one appeals to you, and remember to take care of your board, and your board will take car of you.

i have a loaded dervish and my friend has a original torpedo. honestly with blue/ orange khiros and paris 180s the dervish carves as nice as the original trucks. plus a dervish with zigs is the same price as a dervish on a website that i saw. i guess its all about opinion though.
