  • is it caliber specific? how do you have one scope thathas exact mil dots for more than one caliber and different types of ammo

  • Is it possible to get an integrated laser range finder integrated ?

  • Remington 700 .204 Ruger with this scope. What do yall think?

  • Can anyone tell me if the doa is accurate with .308 and if so what grain ammo?

  • 1:05pm Friday (CST) - Time in Mississippi

  • dank

  • would this be hard to set up on a howa m1500 .308?

  • If I may, what do you have that is rated for a AR-50

    E1

  • @ETHRON1

    if you may what?

anyway, you don't want bushnell for 50 bmg.

if you have went to 50 bmg instead of 416 rigby, 338 lapua etc, you chose 50 bmg for range past 1,200 m.

schmidt & bender, zeiss, leupold, nikon.

if you are on a budget lots of people swear by their night force budget scopes.

you need a mildot reticle, decide on mildot or moa adj turrets, minimum of 90 moa elevation adjustment and minimum 50 mm objective.

don't be surprised if your scope costs as much as the rifle.

  • @tapper45 ask a question that is.....but you answered it......considering this is just for a demo I guess i will stick with B&L that I am using...A friend recommended the 6500 for my AR-10 and I just wondered if it would hold up to the 50...thanks for the input....E1

  • @ETHRON1

i'm not saying that scope won't work, it's just that it doesn't appear to allow shots further than 600 meters.

you absolutely need a mildot reticle to take advantage of the wealth of knowledge out there that has been compiled to enable you to place accurate fire at 1,000 m +.

i have 4 or 5 non mildot scopes that i could practice with on my 50 to get accurate at 1,000 m but it would take a lot of shooting just to see what's what.

the mildot is the final word in accuracy at distance.

  • @tapper45

I guess I misunderstood and wasn't clear on what I was asking...yes the mil dot is the best for distance...a friend has a 6500 elite, that was what I was wondering, but after talking with him he said it works great on his 50. So my apologies for the confusion....E1

  • hi sir , what about Bushnell Yardage Pro 4-12x42 Laser Rangefinder Rifle scope ? will this rectile be available in that series aswl ? thanks a lot

  • What different cal's does this work for in CF rifles. Thanks in advance, yl

  • poor buck!

  • how can this scope be calibrated to the ballistics for my firearm which is .308 but can still be calibrated to other ballistics?!?!?!!? also does it take windage into account???

  • Whats the MOA on that?

  • Hows it handle with a 7mm RM?

  • i think ill stick to my Mil-dot scopes M3 scopes are fine for me :)

  • @Oxstayne Yeppers dot scopes are purty effective about 200 meters for 200-500 meters you need a magnifier 3x aimpoint or 4x eotech anything longer range definetely need a scope. but the magnifiers are damn pricey 600 bucks. I am willing to fork over 600 bucks for a red dot for quick target aquisition at 200 meters but damn anything more than that i probably just get a scope that can take me to 1000 meters for 600 bucks i can get a really good one.

  • @TheCashistrash You should go with S&B short dot, or Trijicon TR21. They're probly the best multi-purpose optics, but are quite pricey.

  • Yes, it will hit at 600 yards with a .270.

  • what kinda ammo were u using?

  • i bought this scope today. will it still hit at 600 yards with a .270
