  • Yep, no one cares about the story, it is about the effects, that is why I wrote an entire short film just because I wanted to have a planet explode and a ship just barely escape.

I actually am making it just to prove that I can. I am working on other films that are more story-based. (but are still effect heavy)

  • That looks like a problem I had in AP physics last month!

  • Is that Ubuntu Unity I see?

    Y U NO GNOME 3?

  • "in thö föörst episöyd" :P "Haa, intresting nampörs" Not only scientifically correct also linguistically correct ;)

  • lol i would go crazy working with that loud render farm in the same room...

  • @pcmaster888

yeah thats why you are some noname corporations bitch & these guys are making the epicedest of epicnessest films. ever?

  • @pcmaster888 Who is to say we are not crazy already and work here because of the render farm? =^..^=

  • Hi Samuli. The CGI-Diaries are great stuff, but one thing is missing: background music.

What about the awesome song "see you in reykjavik", you allready received via e-mail.

Feel free to use it ;-)

  • Why do I get the idea that the offices of Energia Productions have a strong odor of marijuana.

  • @mymovienerd Yeah but thats from having the windows open and being above a kebab shop.

  • @battlestarvfx I wish we had kebab shops in the US. They sound like a much needed alternative to Big Macs and Whoppers.

  • @mymovienerd Kebab shops are basically bad imitations here of donair shops. Trust me, you don't want them anywhere near you. However if you can ship over some Taco Bell for us we would be really really thankful.

  • @battlestarvfx I'll give President Obama a call and see what he can do. OK?

  • Sounds too quiet in that room

  • Awesome! Hope to see more of these CGI Diaries!

  • I am very happy that they are still working on the movie. When it releases, I will defenitley watch it!

  • Rotating Rings on ships for gravity? Did you take that from Babylon 5 ships? :D

PS: The Station also had rotation sections for gravity.

  • @Valen630 No, from 2001.

  • @Valen630 That TV show was EPICLY Awesomeness...Startrek can't compete with it IMO.

  • @Ashyboy1992 No past and present show can compete with it :D

  • @Valen630 The concept of artificial gravity in a space ship by rotation is a tad older than B5.

  • @kvuohi Indeed, I think there's books from the 1930's which describe rotation nullifying the floatation in space.

  • I hope iron sky is better than this video...

  • I hope Iron Sky is stylitsically Finnish. Mannherheim was a great General. one of the best of World War Two

  • @Rorshein How does fella who died 60-yrs ago have anything to do with a finnish movie?

  • @skulljoked Because he was Finnish and from the WOorld War Two era. And Nazis are from the World War Two era.

  • Problem is that NASA is grounding their shuttle fleet and the only Earth spacecraft for the foreseeable future will be launched with old tube staged launchers like back from the 1960s and earlier. Unless USAF has some secret spacecraft fighter, but the americans are broke. So, these type of advanced earth spacecraft are even more far-fetched than Nazi anti-gravity discs...

  • nazis on the moon, is that scientifically correct? lol

  • @AaronBalitskyz

    Ja!

...NEIN! I mean NO! We are not on the moon. I mean we are not anywhere. err....look a pink ice-cream van!

  • @omegavalerius haha

  • @omegavalerius

    Slightly Monty Pythonesque...

  • Awesome! We want more Samoli! And gratuitous blimp shots!

  • Scientifically Correct! I love it. Just as much as I did Star Wreck.

  • i like the accent of you guys xD

  • TO MEANY SPOILERS ARE IN THIS Diaries.... no thanks becouse that just ruin fun from movie

  • you want the ships to be scientifically correct? Guns, on top of guns, on top of more guns, with a cherry on top.

  • UKK spotted

  • Have you thought about making the moon different shades of color as revealed recently by Richard Hoagland via NASA? The moon is no longer viewed as a straight grey as seen from the atmosphere, it is different colors when viewed out of the Earth's atmosphere such as blues, green and browns. Also will you be adding frozen ice to some parts too - all in the name of being scientifically correct?

  • Soooo... This movie coming out before 2020?

  • @promdawg its coming out in less than a year

  • hehehe oh those calculations :D ive done em my self turns out they are alot more annoying to do in reverse

  • "Everything is scientifically correct!" I knew moon people were real!

  • @Triokugan Moon nazies!

  • FIRST

  • @NathanDunnoz Really? Please put something else other than First maybe something about the video cuz what is the point? dont win anything
