Hi everyone, English gal here. I just want you to know how much I love and admire the Australian people. It's not just because most Australians have British or Irish ancestors like me, it's because you turned a fairly desolate island into one of the most modern and magnificent nations on earth and yet you're not arrogant, unlike some. We love you here in England.
I was born and raised in Loas Angeles California in the United States. I grew up believing that America was the best place in the world, the land of hopes and dreams where anything is possible and life is easy. Well, that perception is starting to fade. I have now decided that I am going to go to Australia and if I like it, I will move there.
Yes, I am an Aussie and love my country! I have traveled and lived overseas! But Australia is still the most beautiful in my eyes! I just love the colours right through this vid! Awesome!
I went to Australia once. It rained non-stop and flooded my hotel. I went swimming and was almost eaten alive by a great white shark. Everytime I went to go to the toilet a giant spider leapt out at me. All the men are closet transvestites & all the women are lesbian. They are the most xenophobic people on Earth and all they eat is meat & fish. Their treatment of the Aboriginals is so sad and all they talk about is sport. They are all drunkards and they swear constantly. I am never going back.
Im a 17 year old gierl. i will be moving to australia soon for my education. Im worried cause ive never really lived by myself that far away from my family. Ill have to make new friends. I hope everything goes gr8. Probably cause australia is so wonderful i wont feel too out of place. Thanks for the video xoxo
I am from overseas and I find Australian people very nice. They all are very lovely and all Australian girls are so hot way more hotter than any Hollywood girls. I am also ready to fight for Australia if needed . God bless Australia and beautiful people in it. MERRY C HRISTMAS.
It's starting to get cold here finally in Michigan, this looks far better than snow. :( I'd love to live here for a year or so once I get enough money.
I’m sorry but I have NO RESPECT for Australians. My daughter worked as a dancer & escort over there when she was 17-19YO & the things she was asked to do were DISGUSTING.
Once, she & two female colleagues got a corporate job, accompanying 3 male executives on a business trip. Her client made her ‘change his nappy’ in his hotel room, screaming & throwing bottles at her while she wiped his dirty backside & genitals. She than read him a children’s story while engaging in mutual masturbation.
@SuperTruth77 So if that happened where ever you live you would have no respect for your self, your daughter, or your whole nation? If your daughter met some unrespectable pricks in Australia that does not make everyone in Australia an unrespectable prick. Maybe you should stop blaming an entire nation for one persons actions.
@SuperTruth77: You think that doesn't happen everywhere in the world. Have you ever seen Jerry Springer! I have no respect for someone who judges a nation on the actions of a few.
I am from Ireland but I really want to live in Austrailia someday when i'm older ..it would be my dream ...love your counrty everything about it ..the climate, landscape and Australien people are so friendly ...i hope i get the honour someday in the future to live in a country as pretty as Austrailia !! :)
I thought my hometown was beautiful & a great place growing up, but I'd love to see Australia! A continent of natural paradise, amazing wildlife & great people! So many English have moved there & to Canada, my neighbours mother moved to Oz & my other English neighbour's mother moved to Canada!
I'm considering moving to Australia. I currently live in the United States. Are there any benefits you would say to living in Australia rather than America?
@InfamousAustinT0: Australia is a great place to live. Great health care, education, low violence, great weather, friendly people, more beaches than you could poke a stick at. Unlike in America right now the economy is going well, higher per capita wages than America. Sure its got a few problems...but the UN didn't rank it in the top 3 places to live for nothing. Do it, you won't regret it...and you can always move back. I hope you like hot weather and sports!
@InfamousAustinT0: I should also say that...the cost of living is higher and housing is expensive, especially in Melbourne and Sydney. But that's the price you pay for living in a country so large with a smaller population. It really depends on what you're after and why you're thinking of making the move.
I may only be 15, but one day I will come here, try everything out, make new friends and thrive in the adventure. Roll on the sweet days. You got yourself a beautiful country here.

Australia is a great country. Love how there is diversity in cultures and traditions. Sure, there is going to be some friction between people when you have differing cultures/nationalities (it's inevitable, we're not perfect). Bottom line is that Australia has accepted people from pretty much all over the world and that has made Australia what it is today.
@mikec9135 I was born in England but I now live in Brisbane. The people here are as beautiful as the weather and landscapes. I'm sure you're going to love it here as I do. There is no greater place on Earth that I know of.
@Max5941 Yes Australia is ridiculously expensive and overpriced, thats one of the things that sucks about living here, Australia is now one of the most expensive countries in the world and is now more expensive then most countries in Europe and is now more expensive then Japan.
I know this doesnt have much to the video but im possibly moving to australia and i need some rumors clearing up before/if i move: 1. Girls have to wear skirts to school (no trousers) 2.Snakes and spiders are everywhere :S and finally it hardley ever rains but when it does it rains hard. please reply anyone from aussie land ;)
I live in North Carolina, We go to South Carolina to swim since we dont have those wonderful sea's and ocean's well were i live in north carolina we dont. we have a river but its always flowing so it would take us down stream where we wouldnt be able to get out of the current's way! I came here because i didnt now what australia looked like and i heard where cody simpson was from. & now that i see what it looks like im amazed, I must go to AUSTRALIA one day :) And marry a australian <3 ya CODY!!
i have a relation there at the moment and she cannot understand why they hate the Irish.....she got so much abuse one day on a bus about her accent she was nearly in tears...
@fairhillnorrie Sorry to hear that. I've lived in Australia my whole life and have never heard of this. I love the irish accent and never heard anyone bagging it, i think your relative met with some unfortunate people which can happen in every country
@fairhillnorrie: Jerks ... it's not the norm. Most Aussies love different cultures, accents and experiences is making Australia better and more exciting.
@fairhillnorrie we generally arent a hateful bunch..its just what aussies do, take the piss out of everyone..including themselves;) im sorry she took offence but im sure there was no malice intended:)
@muzzz2008 thank you. i am not saying all Ozzies are like this but it wasn't as you say taking the piss. this was abuse... "go back to where you came from" " im not talking to you, i want to speak to someone with proper English" etc,etc... anyway the relative i spoke of has now moved from Victoria to Sidney so hopefully there i might be better.. thanks again.. no hard feelings.
I feel so sorry for you people then, see I am lucky then because I live in australia now, me and my family moved over here, see I live in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia(Search It) and it's beautiful! So much wildlife yet lots of entertainment, because it's a city! The people are so nice, and the weather is awesome, it's so warm and you get a nice tan, I got one. JUST BEAUTIFUL:)
I live in Hamilton, New Jersey, U.S.(the worst place in the country) I've always had a dream to go to Australia. Maybe i should marry an Aussie. Then maybe my dream will come true :) Is there any Australian women who I could marry in about 10 years?
im 17 from England and today have just received my 4 year visa to come and live australia, looking forward to seeing places like this... Brisbane here i come!!! :)
@mikec9135 I hope you have heaps of fun!, and when you get a change i think you would absolutely love the Gold Coast. its currently winter right now but its amazing during summer. its blue cloudless skies nearly everyday in summer.
@mikec9135 so nice mike! i love that you made a dream come true,
now it's my turn;p i wanna live there so badly. or california looks also pretty awsome to me:)
i have family everywhere, melbourne, perth, and all spread over australia. but also in America in las vegas and oregon. So i really wanna go after them and live like them. im totally going for it in my live. World here i come!
I'll definately move to Australia when i grow up a little more. I'm actually 17 years old now and from Finland, and I definately see myself as a professional photographer in Australia and make a living whenever i get my chance. Australia just seems to have relaxed lifestyle and nice people, and the weather is definately warmer there for whole year, unlike in Finland.
@SaxtonHalesC(my english is poor)hesthair happy to be acquainted with ban.toi song o viet nam.if chance please visit my country.i live in viet nam.you are welcome to have the feedback
come to sydney!!!!!! great beaches and weather (clean too)!!!!!!
most people aren't racist but there are just as many as in any average country. no one can change the past and all countries have been bad to one another. australia is no different. appreciate the beauty now!
@xnewblood98 haha Australia is beautiful, but its no NZL. New Zealand is paradise, the most beautiful place in the world along with Switzerland. But Australia is also awesome!
can sombody pleeeease tell me where that waterfall/ lagoon area is from 1:28 +??? im backpacking to Australia soon and would LOVE to go to that amazing place! :) thanks to anyone who could help me out :)
Hey there 123olic - there are many amazing areas like this up in the Northern Territory and around Katherine. Check out our links on our web page. Good luck on your backpacking adventure! :)
and that this is still happening in this day. and that this is not a well wide known issue.
the aboriginies need more attention from the world !! why dont the aboriginies go the united nations and get them to recognise their own state ?? in the same way the palestinians are now doing, and the lakota native american indians are trying to do in the usa.
a legal aboriginal state entity.
fuck white racists and their system still doing it today !
@123olic I have no idea where that exact waterfall is, it looks a bit like it's in the Pilbara region. If you like the rugged red rocks with waterfalls you might like Jim Jim falls?
I live in New York right now and have for most of my life. I want to go to Australia for a year, but it's a big change of pace. How's the night life/ party seen out there?
@Jollaz10 Oh oh oh move to north queensland, like palm cove or port douglas. its sooo green and lush and tropical rainforest-y. I wish i lived there instead of melbourne.
@msinquisitive20 ha thanks for the tip :) I hear melbourne is pretty nice though, but I suppose a rainforest-like area would be nicer that anywhere else!

In some parts of Aussie heaps of snakes and spiders, but that's usually rural australia. I live in the country and have only seen 1 snake.
And it rains heaps during winter,

i have a relation there at the moment and she cannot understand why they hate the Irish.....she got so much abuse one day on a bus about her accent she was nearly in tears...
fairhillnorrie 5 months ago
@fairhillnorrie Sorry to hear that. I've lived in Australia my whole life and have never heard of this. I love the irish accent and never heard anyone bagging it, i think your relative met with some unfortunate people which can happen in every country
jamilah112 5 months ago
@fairhillnorrie
Most Aussies LOVE the Irish!
Maybe she's living in Queensland/NSW? Tell her to move to Melbourne.
Cataclysm31 4 months ago
@fairhillnorrie: Jerks ... it's not the norm. Most Aussies love different cultures, accents and experiences is making Australia better and more exciting.

@fairhillnorrie we generally arent a hateful bunch..its just what aussies do, take the piss out of everyone..including themselves;) im sorry she took offence but im sure there was no malice intended:)
muzzz2008 3 months ago
@muzzz2008 thank you. i am not saying all Ozzies are like this but it wasn't as you say taking the piss. this was abuse... "go back to where you came from" " im not talking to you, i want to speak to someone with proper English" etc,etc... anyway the relative i spoke of has now moved from Victoria to Sidney so hopefully there i might be better.. thanks again.. no hard feelings.
fairhillnorrie 3 months ago
@fairhillnorrie ahh thats a shame, theres always a minority that give the rest of us a bad name..hope she enjoys sydney:)

I'll definately move to Australia when i grow up a little more. I'm actually 17 years old now and from Finland, and I definately see myself as a professional photographer in Australia and make a living whenever i get my chance. Australia just seems to have relaxed lifestyle and nice people, and the weather is definately warmer there for whole year, unlike in Finland.

most people aren't racist but there are just as many as in any average country. no one can change the past and all countries have been bad to one another. australia is no different. appreciate the beauty now!

Hey there 123olic - there are many amazing areas like this up in the Northern Territory and around Katherine. Check out our links on our web page. Good luck on your backpacking adventure! :)

i am upset more people haven't seen this video.
and that this is still happening in this day. and that this is not a well wide known issue.
the aboriginies need more attention from the world !! why dont the aboriginies go the united nations and get them to recognise their own state ?? in the same way the palestinians are now doing, and the lakota native american indians are trying to do in the usa.
a legal aboriginal state entity.
fuck white racists and their system still doing it today !
Communist2012 4 months ago
@123olic I have no idea where that exact waterfall is, it looks a bit like it's in the Pilbara region. If you like the rugged red rocks with waterfalls you might like Jim Jim falls?

@Jollaz10 Oh oh oh move to north queensland, like palm cove or port douglas. its sooo green and lush and tropical rainforest-y. I wish i lived there instead of melbourne.
msinquisitive20 6 months ago
@msinquisitive20 ha thanks for the tip :) I hear melbourne is pretty nice though, but I suppose a rainforest-like area would be nicer that anywhere else!
