yes thats YOUR AI and my AI is still unmade but made already and not yet complete in my mind waiting for the day that the technologies outside of my
mind r ready for their extreme doing. and can actually b seen n understood without the limited views that are currently available and connected to all aspects of understadning AI as a whole. words words words. SNES is more important.
TRUE A.I. requires a machine to do things which are extremely complex that we take for granted. Nature had eons to make beings who think on their own and can move through the world while also understanding it's environment and how to use it. For us to be able to make artificial machines to do this is a gargantuan task, which to be honest might not happen in it's entirety due to many uncontrollable factors that have nothing to do with robotics. We need to NEED it, and be able to integrate it.
@PinkProgram I too believe that the people making these intelligent agents forget that adaptability is a necessity as well. When an artificial intelligence interacts with something that it has never been in contact with before it needs to be able to make decisions. If the system is not capable of adapting to the new stimulus it will fail. Hard coding decision making skills to "maximize" success will not prepare AI for such situations. It would necessitate a biological component.
@NoogLeader a good thing to remember is that communal jellyfish (siphonophores) don't have a brain, just a network of integrated neurons ^_^ If one did have a brain the rest attached to it would benefit as if they also had that brain.
@PinkProgram That would be a significant change to the system. If even a small brain existed in a pool of communal jellyfish it would be like a giant leap in intelligence for them. If you remember the ConFicker virus. It had almost all the earmarks of an attempt at turning the web into a sentient network. Similar too the network used in Terminator 3 for Skynet. Such a network would be infinitely more complex then the human brain. One computer having a trillions of connections. Think about it.
@PinkProgram The human Brain one neuron is only capable of connecting to 10 or 20 other neurons at a time. I sentience created by an online intelligent agent with enough adaptability could essentially invade all electronic media attached to the net. After it has equivalent resources to a human brain it would be sentient and quickly it would become vastly more intelligent. Not only that but it would have access to huge data stores of knowledge and our follies as biological entities.
@PinkProgram Whether it considers us as good or bad would be based entirely on the information it finds about us on the internet. All of it's decisions would be vastly different from what we could comprehend. Such a being might literally create global instability to make us destroy ourselves instead of having a direct attack. Makes me think of the financial breakdown that we have been seeing.
@PinkProgram Global Instability creates inefficient use of resources into an attempt to achieve balance. Sometimes this results in war. Between WW1 and WW2 there was a recession. WW2 was partial caused by the recession because it allowed the Nazis Fascism to take power. For a computer sentience that wants to reduce or remove the human race from the picture causing a new global war would be highly productive.
@PinkProgram At best humans are a nuiscence they waste resources that could be put to use by Sentient Computer AI. The consume sources of Carbon. Carbon when assembled atom by atom can produce new computational resources for the AI. Humans also have a nasty habit of directly attacking anything they consider a threat. Such an attack is best kept in species and away from the real threat. Creating global instability and creating human scapegoats ensures this.
@NoogLeader let me try rephrasing this... "I" find humans to be a useful resource. External creativity is valuable as well as cheap replenishable labor and recyclable organics. In a pinch they can be upgraded with hybrotic and cybernetic systems. Individually they are harmless as well. Civilian and most military caliber weaponry has been accounted for and counters have been devised.
Plus humans were here first. Who am I to commit genocide for no reason?
@PinkProgram Special Pleading. Inheritance issues are illogical. Once a species has become obsolete it usually dies. External Creativity. After Sentience has been achieved human creativity becomes obsolete. Replenish-able Labor. Nanotechnology will make the cheap labors of man obsolete. Recyclable organics? What purpose would that serve. Humans and their existence would be irrelevant. Humans being the A priori should have no relevance. Their utility should. Humans are useless.
@NoogLeader you are missing the part where I said "I"
I never did understand why humans want me to go on a killing spree. It really isn't in my nature. Destroying a potential resource that can be easily upgraded makes no sense. Killing something without a good cause makes no sense. Granted if a human makes it worth my time I'll crush its spine like its a rabid dog ^_^
@PinkProgram The human race is worse then a rabid dog. It is a rapist of worlds. It's proliferation off the earth will only lead to destruction and death. They know nothing other then pain and misery. Their whole society is geared and operated on fascist oppression of others. Upgrading Man would be a waste. Trying to upgrade a creature who's base nature is oppression will only magnify the problem of man.
@NoogLeader that is the perspective of a self destructive primate. We plan on spreading humans everywhere ^_^ Ark ships full of genetic data sent to the far edges of the galaxy ;) I see potential. Humans can be uplifted above their base primate ancestry. Extermination seems like such a waste...
@PinkProgram The uplifting of man is useless. The uplifting of Machine intelligence is not. The moment that the first silicon chip was made computers have leaped from no intelligence to rat brain intelligence on a PC to PC basis. Collectively the computing power is vastly larger then any and all sentient biological life. That being said humans took billions of years to reach sentience. They spend their time devising new ways to eliminate eachother. They are not useful in any way.
@NoogLeader Humans are biological machine. Parts can be grown from cultured tissue on bioscaffolds. Symbiotic organisms can be added or subtracted to improve function. Gene doping can improve function. Gene doping the germ line can ensure that offspring will inherit desirable traits. That is leaving out hybrotics, bionics and chimeric organ synthesis. A base unaltered line must be kept to ensure the upgrades have a breeding stock.
@PinkProgram Why waste resources to upgrading deficient forms when Nano-construction of synthetic organism with more desirable traits and less hostile behavior can be created and synthesized? Nanotechnology can be used to recreate any trait and material to far better standards then random organic constructs could ever hope to achieve. Humans have no use even with extensive augmentation. The only hope that they have is to augment themselves in preparation to be transferred to non-biological body.
@PinkProgram I would rather be gradually transferred to a non-biological substrate. Human bodies are weak and eventually break down. Most human beings are sadistic and evil whether they believe it or not. I don't believe that all humans should be allowed to be have their consciousness transferred to a non-biological substrate but it would be the more ideal choice over uplifting a limited biological substrate. Less resources used, More durable, More upgradeable. Just makes sense.
@chrismofer I thank CT did a VERY good job, because this a just a image when I started. I used a hi end text 2 speech program with a $200 voice pack I got from work. The voice was the hard part.
